I write keam and I got 12000 ranks. I have taken admissions on a civil engineering course. The qualification for this course is 12. it is a course with very interesting subjects. I got a merit seat at lbs engineering college Kasargod.

Course Curriculum Overview

It is a very interesting course and I love this course. This course is affordable for most students. Students with maths interests have very interested in this course. This is a nice course. Engineering gives good career for us.

College gives many internship opportunities like workshops and online virtual classes. This internship gives verified certificates and give extra experience and activity points for students. It makes us good engineers. It needs a small number of fees

Placement Experience

Placement is very good, especially computer science courses provide good placements for students. This college provides placements to companies like cognisant, tata, infotech, isro. College gives placements with a minimum package of 250000

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is 35000 per annum. And hostel fees are 40000 per annum. There will be many scholarships for students egrands and mcm for students give money is more worth than our fees. And there will 10000 fees for admission.

Campus Life

Campus life is really good and very nice. This college provides placement and a good career. This college provides a good camp for sports and arts. This college provides good facilities for us and teachers are well educated and qualified.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel facilities are good and provide good food and accommodation. There will be 3000 rs per month and 30000 rs per annum is hostel fees. Hostelers must pay 9000 for a caution deposit. The hostel room is really good.

OUR COLLEGE LIFE

Placement Experience:

we are eligible for placement from the 7th sem. Many famous and small compines vist our college. Infosys, WIPRO, TCS vist our college. But the big companies take only few student. Highest package was 1,00,000. And the average package is around 4,00,000. Almost all students gets placed from the campus .

My Experience at NIT Calicut

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would rate the EEE course curriculum around 8-8.5 /10 in terms of relevance.The curriculum provides strong fundamentals in core electrical engineering subjects and prepares students well for core jobs and higher studies.The course curriculum was revised in 2023, and our batch is the 1st batch under the new curriculum. however, there are still limited coding ,AI and data science subjects in EEE ,which could be improved. Exams are conducted times per semester and are generally moderately difficult.

Placement Experience:

The placements here are quite good, but not great. Because only 50% of students in a class are getting placed. From S7 onwards the placements have been started for our department. But for other departments, from S8 only companies have arrived. For CSE department, many companies are coming which include Cognizant, SOTI, Mitsogo, EY, 6D Technologies, etc. Our senior batch students have placed at many companies in this. But comparing with other senior batches, the placements at our batch is really bad.

The student must be clear plus two with almost good grades and write entrance exam well.Kerala Entrance exam score is the basis of admission.
