Remarks

I got the eligibility by applying through KEAM. The admission process was quite easy and the faculties are very much friendly which surprised me as I thought. the faculties must be strict. They will help you through all the stages of admission and will solve your doubts on everything college related.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is moderate and the faculty-student ratio is like 3:4 for every 4 students 3 faculties are assigned. The faculties are all qualified in each of their fields and also in the field of manners and behavior.

Placement Experience

The placement availabilities are quite high in the college. Everyone who leaves college after 4 years has a high chance of getting a job. The placement is 90%last years and is rising at present. Companies like Tata, cognisant. etc.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is like the fees for each year is 35000 . And the hostel fees minimum is 1500 for each month and it may rise up to 4k which is rare and is dependent on the electric charge. And a few good scholarships are available like MCM, Egrantz, scholarships for SC and STs, etc.

Campus Life

A large number of books are available in the library. Sports are well supported on the campus and a good-sized football field is present. If you want to make any changes there is a student council run by students that will help you to make changes and they will help you with your problems.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester and internship from 3rd semester. You can apply for internship on your own right from first semester but college gives aid from 3rd semester. The major recruiter is ISRO which offers 40-45 jobs for aerospace engineering. Also other companies like CDac Airbus Boeing and DRDO and HAL visit for recruitment. Nearly 85-90% students get placed while some opt for Higher education and research too. My primary goal is to get into ISRO also I will be preparing for gate examination to complete my IIT dream.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I was never interested in engineering. I passed KEAM entrance exam. So my parents forced me to become an engineer. Since I was interested, I thought food technology might be a good branch in engineering. So I got admission in KUFOS through allotment. The course is actually good . In the 1st year, you study basic engineering, 2nd year onwards food related courses are taught. If you are a student who only have the intention to study you will find this college easy to adjust. They provide all facilities to study. There is no particular frequency for a semester. Even though academic calender is there for each batch it is not followed properly. In this college the course may last upto 4.5 years. Due to this reason the students ask the management to cut shot semester breaks so that they won't loose 1 year.

I only have postive thoughts about that campus. The campus helped me to remove my pre-occupations, inhibitions, fear etc. It gave a lot of memorable moments, large number of friends.
