Remarks

A change in mindset of college management should be there. Means they should be a bit open minded

Entrance Preview

I appeared for IIT-JEE and AIEEE. But i didnt get a good score in IIT-JEE. My AIEEE rank was quite good and the placement were also good. Thats why i opted for this college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3

The course structure was ok neither good nor bad. In terms of research its bit lagging behind frankly speaking. The elective subjects are not in our hands. Teachers choose themselves. More emphasis on theory rather than practical. Thats the major problem in our education system. But from now our college is taking some steps related to research and the infra structure also. The college timing was also good so there was no problem related to completion of course.

Internships Opportunities

Usually our college tries to get some internship for students. But hardly anyone of us gets it. Some of the students gets it witha good stipend.

Placement Experience

3.5

The placement of CS an IT branch is very good now a days. A s far as core branches are concerned their is a downfall in the placement and job opportunities. But still the overall placement scenario is good. Some companies gives around 10lacs also. Average is 5.5lacs i think so.

College Events

4

Coming to the events we have a techno-management fest followed by sports fest and last cultural fest. All the fest are awesome and have a great environment. Our Techno-management fests name is AAVARTAN, sports fests SAMAR and cultural fests ECLECTIKA.

Fee Structure And Facilities

When i took admission in college at that time the fees structure was very feasible. But recently there is a 400% hike in the fee structure making it very expensive when it is compared to government college. Students are facing many problems because of that as many of them are taken loans from the banks.

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is very limited i think. But you can easily get the loan for your studies as its for government college. Any bank can give you loan if you are studying in any NIT.

Campus Life

3.5

Coming to gender ratio the girls are very less in number. The extracurricular activities are very good and participation level is also good. Labs are okay but now they are improving. Sports competition are also good with good number of participation. As a government college you will find students coming from every part of the country

Hostel Facilities

3

The hostel facilities are good and the hostel fees are also feasible. Its basically sharing. But the problem is with mess food. Food is not at all good. I think its the problem of every mess food because they cant be replaced with the food we gets in our home.

Alumni/Alumna

Alumni network is also okay. Neither good nor bad. But the alumnus which are in contact with college are very helpful. They will guide you will give all their experiences.

Exam Structure

For engineers exam are usually hectic because we starts studying just before one night. Exam structure is okay. Gaps between two exams are also fine. timing of exams were also cool. I dont think there is any problem related to exam structure. The results were also not delayed.

Admission

Because of my good marks in aieee. The admission process is very simple, you just needs to fill your desired branch and college. And then according to your rank and your choices filled you will be called for further process. If you get a call you need to go to the desired campus where you need to verify all your documents. After that they will ask for further updragation of branch if you want to.

Faculty

3.5

The faculties in our college were qualified as now they have increased the qualification level of faculties. Minimum of B.Tech +m.tech is compulsory to be a faculty in our college. If the faculty got his major subject than its okay but sometimes faculties are forced to teach some subjects than they are not good at.

Placement Experience:

Final year students are eligible to appear for campus placements which starts towards the end of their 7th semester. Companies that visited for Civil Engineering: L&T, Adani, Stratview Research, PlanetSpark and several local firms. The highest packages were offered by Adani (approx 7 LPA) and L&T (6-7 LPA). Around 5-7 students received placement offers from the mentioned companies. It is important to note that a lot many students did not sit for campus placements as they had different career aspirations (government jobs, higher education, business ventures etc.) My plans were to prepare for upcoming competitive government exams as well as try my hand at something different and creative

1. Students from seventt semester and onwards are eligible for the campus placements. 2. There are ample numbers of comapnies visited in our college like schneider electric, bpcl, bhel, bhel, reliance, catterpillar, eil, and so on. As per the last year data around 130 comapnies made in to our campus and they offered around 800 plus offers to various studenst of different departments. 3. The highets package offered this year is 60 lakhs that is offered by DE Shaw and average package is something around 11 laks per annum 4. Taking considerations of students of all departments, almost 70 percent students get placed. 5. Presently my plan after getting degree is to get into a job.

Microtex, HCL, Wipro and many other IT companies gives us research projects and also their work as well. So, we basically have indirectly worked for them and the ones they feel can add more to their organization comes with a clear mind and take us with a package that we expect them to. So, placements are purely on performance as those who perform well are given best of placements.
