Remarks

I took the entrance exam to enter the college. I have written eamcet exam to enter the b.tech colleges. I got 10800 ranks in eamcet and I got a seat in CSM in MGIT college. I have written eamcet exam in august 2021. And the results are got in august 2021. I got a seat in the third phase of this college. I joined the college in November ending in 2021.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course CSM is my favorite course. I am very excited to do the CSM course at MGIT. The faculty are very experienced and they are teaching us very well. But some of the faculty are very careless about us. But overall the faculty is very good and I like the way of teaching also. A very good curriculum is there.

Class Size: 10000Course Fees: INR 100000 per year

Placement Experience

Our college placements are very good. After the 1st sem of the third year, we are eligible for campus placements. In the year 2022 our college gets the 70lps highest package for one student. I think a 70percent of students get placements in the campus placements. My plans after getting the degree are to do a software job and lead my life peacefully.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is very high. And the chance of getting a scholarship is also very less Chance for the OC caste. But for other caste students, will get a scholarship. The financial assistance of the college is very good.

Campus Life

The annual feast of the College name is Nirvana. Recently the fest was held in June end. The technical fest was also conducted one day before of traditional fest in ending of June months. The availability of books & journals is good in Library. We have clubs also ex: dance club, music club, sports club, etc...

Hostel Facilities

Our college is providing hostel facility also.CBES hostel is provided by our college.The fees of hostel is 77k per annum. The meal quantity is better but taste is very bad and menu also common for every day. The locality i am rented a room in mehdipatnam. Which is very good for us to stay free.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I felt that entire curriculum needs to be changed, since there are many useless subjects that are irrevalant to software engineering in CSE. I also felt subjects like c,c++, java needs to be replaced with python and web development subject should be replaced with something like nextjs. Initially I thought the syllabus and curriculum was good untill 3rd year of my Btech degree. The curriculum of jntuh is outdated in terms of real world. Teaching methods are ok though it needs minor improvements in some areas. The frequency of exams is same, you get semester exams and supply exams , you will have more chances to clear you backlogs, my advice is to clear backlogs in same year or try not getting any backlogs in engineering. timing of exams is usually after every 6 months out of which we usually have 180 or more working classes days. And in between we get sundays, holidays,events and other things. Semester exams are difficult especially subjects like mathematics or electronic subjects like ADE, which is irrelavant to CS.

Absolutely unsatisfied because of faculty and lack of placements.

Right Iam in 7 th semester ending,no company came to our college to recruit us.May be in 8 th sem companies will come.My seniors got in some companies like TCS, Infosys,Capgemini etc..with an average of 3.6 lpa.And all students did not get placed just 10 students in each class got placement.We need more placements to satisfy the students.

Placement Experience:

After the third year or 6th Semester you can take part in placements. There has been a lack of companies visiting this year. Placement Experience:

From 7th semester students become eligible for campus placements Various companies like Google, Microsoft, Amaazon, Facebook, Uber, Ola, visisted and made around 300 offers in total, The highest package offered was 90LPA to a student from CSE and the avg Package was around 20 LPA Around 50% of the students got the placement this year. i did applied for various colleges like chaitanya bharathi intistute of technolgy,vasavi ,vjr college etc and this college i got admissions in vasavi college and mgit but in vasavi college i got civil branch in which i don't have intrest and got IT department in mgit so i choose mgit over vasavi college and i got rejected by cbit, cvr college because i got eamcet rank which are not enough to get admissions in those colleges .In MGIT ,the minimum rank for the cse is 6000 and for ece and ET's the rank is 11000 for general category and we also have B category in which the students can get admissions through there jee mains percentile...Read More
