Remarks

I applied for the BCom programme course, which consists of 6 semesters. Candidates' eligibility must have an average of 40% (12th exam result) in order to be selected. An application form is available online at the site www.kgtmcollegebagdogra.com. The admission process has already improved.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

B.Com programme was my one and only choice , I was very good at the subject consist in it. The student-teacher ratio is approximately 100-200 students per semester. All the faculty members' qualifications are overqualified. All the teachers have degrees in their specified fields. Teaching methods are absolutely fine. Exams are held every six months, termed as "semesters". It is not as difficult as students work hard and study well to qualify for their exams.

Placement Experience

2

Out of 100% of students, only 40% of students get qualified for placements as there is vast competition. Job placement is not guaranteed for every student as it consists of government jobs as well as private jobs. Students sometimes get rejected as the selection process for the placements is quite hard, but those who easily qualify all the hindrances consisting in selection get the placements and opportunities.

Fees and Financial Aid

Students must pay exam fees, a yearly fee, practical fees, and so on. As the course consists of three years, As it's a government college, the price of fees is lower and affordable for every student. Various programmes and opportunities are available like NCC, sports, etc. with no charges. Scholarships are provided by the government according to their caste structure. Because it allows students who are unable to continue their studies due to financial constraints to concentrate on their studies instead. the colleges provide the scholarship forms with the help of the government to the students free of charge. Many job offers and job orientations take place during college. I didn't want the job provided on the campus, so I let it pass. But students, according to their likeness, can accept the job opportunities with a stipend.

Campus Life

3

Annual fests are mainly held in mid-month or at the end of the month (ex-July, August, and September). The college library has every type of book (for Science, Commerce, Arts, and others). The classroom environment is greatly improved, and new modern technological equipment for teaching is also introduced. Every year, sports events are held, and students have the opportunity to compete at the state level in sports such as cricket, football, running, relays, high jump, and many others. Many groups are also formed in college, like social groups (environment batch), NCC groups, and many more.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is of course outdated. Teaching methods are old. No case studies, competitions or project of any sort is there in the curriculum. Although a project of 100 marks is there in the final sem, but I don't think that's enough. There is no practicality in the curriculum and usability in career. The syllabus really needs an uplifment.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is average , I chose this course because I wanted to do an honours degree and I'm from commerce background so my first pick was B.Com . They really put efforts to prepare students for well future , as I said earlier some teachers are genuinely very good helpful supporting and good at what they do . Something they need to approve is the 70% attendance criteria, I think they need to understand not every student is just persuing graduation they are doing some other courses or jobs etc so they can't maintain 70% attendance . The frequency of timing is average

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum is Comprehensive, focused equally on Academics and Practical Exposure.. I chose because of that extra year of research I can choose to do in my final year (4th year) of graduation and I'll have an Hons. Degree at the end of 4th year of my college... Practical insights makes sure we are being trained to tackle practical world and academic knowledge ensures we are eligible to apply for further Education.. I will say more focus on Practical Exposure and a little extra focus on Sports May Take This Curriculum to a different level..

• The specific aspects of the curriculum are the subjects including in this course are related to the industry that will help students to build their career in this competitive world and I choose the course as I wanted to pursue a professional course after graduation. • The curriculum prepares us pretty well for real world applications as there are subjects like management that helps students to understand things very clearly and apply it in the real world. • The frequency and timing of exams is perfect and my perspective on the difficulty level is that the exams are not at all difficult.
