Teachers are very supportive and we have regular classes.
We also have library were we can find most of the books related to our course.

Dislikes

Our college don't have very good infrastructure.

Course Curriculum Overview

Our course basically dont have many scope...it is just a graduation degree that we get so that we can opt for competetive exams for jobs. If we continue it further and do masters degree and then phd then maybe we can land anywhere as a teacher or lecturer.

Class Size: 6Course Fees: INR 17000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

Per year we need to pay 6000 rupees Admission fees per year 4000 and exam fees per semester 1000 rupees. In our college we can avail for any one scholarship. Swami vivekananda scholarship-18000 For this scholarship we need to gat minimum 60 percentage. Oaisis-10000 This scholarship is available for obc candidates.

Campus Life

In our college we have freshers.In our college all the festivals are celebrated such as saraswati puja, durga puja etc. In our college we also have ncc. Sports day is also celebrates where various programs such as running, kabaddi, shortput and many more competions are held

Admission

I applies to many college in my area such as siliguri college, suryasen college, APC,kgtm but i got admission in Kgtm as i wanted to do some other course side by my graduation as i heard that in these college classes are not regular. Admission process is fully online. When the forms are out you may fill the form and then wait for the list.Admission is fully based on our class 12 marks.

Faculty

Currently in our science department we have accurate number of faculty members but have very tight schedule as the same faculty teaches students of all semesters for both honours and pass course. Teachers are approachable and help us if we have any doubt regarding our studies.

Night Life

In our college there is no gym but we have library. In library most of the books are found but not all. We don't have hostel in our college so bacically we dont have any nightlife in or around campus.there is no canteen in our college .

Placement Experience:

After completing the 5th Semester the student are eligible for placement but the student should have 7.5 CGPA and a good attendence for the palcement after this oncampus placement like TCS, wipro, accenture etc come for placement with a native package of around 6-8 LPA. Which is goood . Nearly as per report around 80% of studentt gets placed every year . After i complete this course i have decide to go master degree in data science which will be benificial for me for international company.

Pros and cons

Placement Experience:

Placement or internship depends on the course Duration . Overall placement is good . The highest package is 1cr/ yr. And the average package 2to3 lakh/ yr. After getting the bsc. degree in Forensic science, I want to prepare for compitive exam or prepare for higher studies.

My honest opinion, a review worth reading

The college I applied for is shree ram collega and punjub University and I got the confirmation merit list from there and because due to far journey I don't want to relocate and accommodation is also a big thing I can't afford. I didn't got any rejection from any of the college because my percentage was 70 in cbse and I have 95 in my accounts subject so I can easily get a admission in any of the college with bcom honours course that I like most in commerce subject.The admission of my north Bengal University college is according to the merit list in the class 12 marks achive in accounts subject and high percentage and sc st OBC quota wise admission process are going on in North Bengal University college...Read More

Bcom honours at kgtm

The admission process was good because at our time was online reason corona,so it is easy to complete admission process by there own home. I am not preparing for any entrance exam right now because my goal is business, digital marketing and govt.jobs. No eligibility criteria of the particular course in kalipada ghosh tarai mahavidyalay. I find the application form in kalipada ghostarai mahavidyalay college website. BCom houners first year fees is 2525 and date is 3rd September 2021, BCom honours 2nd year course fees is a 2740 and date is a 19 July 2022 and b.com honours 3rd year course fees is 2740 and date is 7 September 2023.
