Remarks
For admission to Indraprastha University, one needs to appear for their IPU - CET. This is an exam for consideration for enrollment into various courses for undergraduate, graduate, and diploma courses. Eligibility for Journalism and Mass Communication is 12th pass. The application form can be found on the GGSIPU's official website. The applications come out in March, while the exam is held in May. Reservation Benefits are availed for SC/ST, OBCand Domicile. The exam is easy to clear and IPU gives a number of courses for us to avail.
Course Curriculum Overview
I chose BJMC because I wanted to share my thoughts and ideas with the world. The faculty in my college are usually assistant professors and PhDs. Exams are often on time, we have 2 sets of exams - internals and externals - every semester.
Internships Opportunities
We get internship opportunities with firms like - Ashman Foundation, Sygnific Careers, Decathlon, and many more, for Content Writing, Social Media Marketing, HR, Reporters, Journalists, etc. They are usually unpaid or stipend up to 7000.
Fees and Financial Aid
Fees for my course is 83000 which includes a 15000 university fee, 1000 activity fee, and 67000 academic fees. Apart from this, my college provides a number of scholarships. We get internship offers from the TnP cell, which are usually unpaid and sometimes paid. These internship opportunities come with job offers.
Campus Life
Campus life at my college is good. We have furnished classrooms, canteens, and a library. We have an annual event - Varchasva in the month of October. We also have different clubs for Fashion, Singing, Drama, and Dance.
