Speaking about the admission process there are many ways you could enter this college well there are 2 exams KCET entrance exam and come entrance exam and the management quota. If you're going through KCET exam then fees would be 75000 per year and come exam then fees would be around 250000 per year and there should be good ranking to get a good course you should visit the the college website for rank cutoff marks for the college

Course Curriculum Overview

Speaking about the course basically, I am from a computer science background so I took B.E in computer science engineering in this college and this is well known for this particular course a good college among the others in Mysore in terms of placements. Faculty are well trained and experienced. students ratio would be 60:40 boy's girl's ratio.

Internships Opportunities

Speaking about internship opportunities in college yes there provide internships for some with a stipend and there would be internship opportunities for everyone there in 3rd year. Many companies recruit students for internships and also provide job offers too if you are good at the internship.

Placement Experience

Speaking about placements these college is very good compared to other engineering colleges in Mysore and many companies visit every year and should get a chance when they are in 6 semesters to seat in placements. The average salary is around 4.5 L per year and the highest till now is 48L per year in Microsoft company.

Life in the college is not that good or bad, because the CLG is in an industrial area so there are no hangout places nearby and clog is small compared to other engineering colleges and library system is good keeps on updated and there r many clubs in college where you could join to any interested clubs.

Placement Experience:

Students in my college have a very good amount of campus placements where students become eligible from the final year 7th semester however the placement cell starts training from the 1st year means 1st semester itself like training for aptitude test, coding and mock interviews. Top it companies like TCS infosys, wipro, Accenture, capgemini, cognizant, IBM, tech mahindra mind tree. The campus receives 300+ offers. The average package 8 - 10 LPA and highest package 54 LPA. Every year 90% students are placed. After my degree i am planning to higher studies in abroad.

My College Story

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is generally detailed and aligned with industry Expectations but there is still scope for modernisation in certain areas.Overall i would like to rate 8/10. The syllabus include both theoretical and multiple lab components which ensures hands on learning. The practical labs like programming work and project with learning help students understand how concepts are applied in real work places. A few theory heavy subjects feel outdated and no longer match the current industry demand this could be revised or replaced.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for placements from the 6th semester, but the overall placement scenario in DSCE for CSE is below average. Not even 50% of students get placed in good companies. Most students end up getting offers from mass recruiters or in sales and non-tech roles. Only a small percentage of top performers get decent technical packages. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Accenture, Cognizant, and a few mid-tier companies visit the campus, but the number of high-package, core-tech roles is very limited. The average package is on the lower side compared to other top COMEDK colleges. Because of this, many students plan for higher studies, certification courses, or off-campus drives after completing the degree. The on-campus placement support definitely needs improvement, especially for technical roles.”

Placement Experience:

My Honest College Experience at CIT(Cambridge Institute of Technology)

Placement Experience:

The students who are studying in 7th semester ( final year) are eligible for campus placements but before that in 5th semester there is pre placement training like aptitude everything. Top companies visit for placement like TCS , infosys, wipro, accenture, capegemini, IBM, techmahindra, Mindtree. Average there are 150-250 offers. Average package is 7-8 lpa. The highest package is 54 lpa at botify company. 85 % of students get placed at cse branch and ai amd ml and civil 30 - 50% . Overall 80% students gets placed. My plan is join a top product based company liek google with a good life.

A complete discipline with education

Placement Experience:

The placement are good average packages 8 lakhs highest packages 35 lakhs and the companies include Google ,Microsoft ,service now companies and usually internships are provided as students become eligible for internship after 3rd year percentage of students getting placement 80% my plans still not yet decided

I got admission in this college from entrance exam named comedk it is conducted all over India. In comedk questions will b asked on 12th phy chem and maths. I got seat via KCET. KCET is held once a year . It's engineering entrance exam for colleges in Karnataka. After the exam there will be counseling and usually the cutoff for NIE Mysore CSE and ISE is around 5k to 6k .
