Entrance Preview

Unfortunately I had not given any entrance exam due to some issues but as I was having good marks in puc I got direct admission. My parents only want me to select this course.Admission procedure was normal , you have to pay the fee and you are in.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

It was good everything was so organised starting from classes to labs to internal to external everything was perfect. We had to give 3 internal for every subject out of which teachers will select best 2. Each internal would be of 25 marks and they ll take average of 2 then 100 max of external make. We were having 6 theory and w lab exams every semester except final semester as other was having projects

Internships Opportunities

Yes they conduct so many internship program one which I attended was 7th sense. The experience was awesome, they help us a lot with interview process and at the same time we had lot of fun, they also conduct workshop

Placement Experience

2

I don't remember the numbers but many of our batch get placed in companies like IBM, Amazon, Honda, package offered by company was 100000, 200000/ an. Varies company to company , I was actually not happy with the placement process because most . College really to work on placement thing.

College Events

5

Ok the most awaited even 1- GHOSIANA 2- HOSTEL DAY. These were the events celebrate by our college and ghousiana is a entire week event where we can participate in any game any competition and at ghousian ll all b get prizes, and hostel day was celebrated in girls and boys hostel individuay

Fee Structure And Facilities

Yes for me it was expensive every year we have to pay 1 lack as tuition fee 7500 as university fee and for 1st year hostel fee was 20000 later it was 11000 and increased every year by 1000.apart from that we had to pay mess fee every month at the time of joining it was 1400 but till final year it came to 2200

Fees and Financial Aid

Yes I avail the scholarship from my stateboard for 3 years, it helped me a lot in completing my course , it was moma scholarship and I got 30000 for 3 years. Thank you WB board

Campus Life

4.5

It's not just a college for me it is this college has given me a chance to live the life the way I want College has big basketball ground, football ground, cricket ground and students always got a chance to show their talent, they also organized the workshop for subjects like networks. This college always give chance to show your talent. We celebrate Independence day on a large scale

Hostel Facilities

0.5

Hostel was awesome , rooms , garden environment everything was just beyond awesome but the problem was with food. I don't know what they literally did with mess fee.food is a secondary thing you can not even have a cup of tea of that mess. We spend all our pocket money to have food in canteen or outside of college

Alumni/Alumna

I did no the attend any alumni meet till now but we were having a good bonding with seniors, they were helpfully, supportive and always courages us for initiatives they never try to rag us

Exam Structure

As I mentioned earlier teachers were very strict. They can guide until you ll enter the exam room but after that you are only responsible for whatever you have done.Yes but they ll give you all other support like serving water need pen , pencil everything they ll do

Admission

Ok first I had pay some amount to reserve the seat ,then I came to college, first I fill so many forms then I was in queue I paid money I got all documents and admission was done.Theyour have different counters for tuition fee , hostel fee, university fee then after admission wrote have collected the ids, for hostel later we got college ids.

Faculty

4.5

All teachers are qualified and they were good at their work except some.Teachers were very strict sometimes I felt like I am a college student or school student, some teachers shows their personal grudges in internal marks or in lab exams. Some of them were very cool and very professional.

Placement Experience:

Placements at RNS Institute of Technology are good. Students become eligible for campus placements from the 6th or 7th semester. Many companies visit the college, including IT and core companies. Some of the common recruiters include TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and a few core companies for EEE. The average package is around 3 to 5 LPA, and higher packages are also offered for top-performing students. The highest package can go much higher depending on the company. Around 70–80% of students get placed, mainly in IT roles. For EEE students, core placements are limited, but there are good opportunities in software roles. The college also provides training and support for placements. After completing my degree, I plan to get placed in a good company and build my career.

Placement Experience:

Most of the students get placed from the campus placements. Students get eligible for campus placements from the fifth semester. Companies like HP, Infosys, Wipro come for recruiting and make offers from 3L per annum to 30 L per annum. Around 70 percent of the students get placed through campus placement. I plan on working for a dream company after completing my degree.

Placement Experience:

I applied to colleges like BMSIT and Sir MVIT, and I had confirmed seats there, too. I chose RNSIT because it has a better reputation for placements in my branch and the campus environment felt more welcoming. I didn't get into RVCE because my KCET rank wasn't high enough for their top branches, as the competition was very tough that year. The admission process is simple. They mainly take students through KCET and COMEDK. You need at least 45% in your 12th boards (PCM). Most students prefer KCET because the fees are lower. Once the seat is allotted through counseling, you just visit the campus, submit your documents, and pay the fees. The whole process was quite smooth and well-organized."

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very unique, and very new, we are not taught irrelevant subjects and topics like every university does, Polaris school of technology (PST) is a new gen college which mainly focuses on tech, producing the best engineers not amongst india but amongst the world, it's aim is to produce engineers who are better than IITians and MITians, all these specifications influenced me to choose this course/curriculum When it comes to real-world applications, Polaris school of technology(PST) gives us real-life problems and scenario based projects through evaluations which help us in the future and helps us to build a proper approach for problems and train us to be the best. We have two main exams per sem which would be conducted every 3 months that is ½th of the sem, we have a total of 8 sems, so total 16 exams, our exams would be difficult for other college students, but not for us as we have the best mentors.
