Remarks

Admission was via IPU CET Paper Code 131, but it's discontinued now, only admissions via JEE Mains are taken. Admissions can be availed by applying on the college website and filling application form there. All details are available in the admission brochure on the website. Website to be improved, updates to be shared on time, avoid delays.

Course Curriculum Overview

Opted USICT for best placements and campus benefits, had an interest in CS since school. Faculty are plenty, enough for students. Pretty much qualified and passionate about learning, lenient whenever necessary. Exam scheduling is poor, date sheets are untimely and unexpected, and exams are of average difficulty.

Internships Opportunities

Amazon, Adobe, Alternative Path, Travclan, Josh Technology Group, Byjus, Gradeup, and Trell, recruited our batch for an internship, and many others currently visiting campus for the 2023- 2024 batch. Many students converted to full-time.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees are pretty low compared to many other govt/ private colleges/ universities, hikes didn't happen in USICT despite other affiliated colleges hiking fees considerably in 2019 as it's govt college, scholarship schemes can be availed by contacting DSW or Student Cell. I got placed in JPMC on campus.

Campus Life

Anugoonj Cultural Fest in February. Infoxoression Tech Fest in September October. UIRC and Library provide ample study, research, and reference resources for free. Classrooms are equipped with projectors and screens apart from being spacious and fully ventilated. Sports clubs, Swar music society, aveksha dance, and dramatics society ACM, IEEE.

The students are eligible for campus placement from 3rd year onwards starting from internships and placements in 4th year , students are free to apply internships from 1st year onwards the hods and faculties are quite supportive in providing the LOR. The proffs of core branches are supportive in providing research opportunities also And famous companies like EY, JP Morgan Chase and ICICI Bank as well as all tech companies recruite from DTU , and because of the brand name of college there are several off campus opportunities too

Placement Experience:

The on campus placement are quite good here even for the code branch. The training and placement cells works really hard for students to land onto best ones. Also regular meets and sessions are taken for students of first second third year's to guide them further by the seniors to let them know about the upcoming events and hackathons so as they don't miss out on anything the seniors also guide the students about the essential skills they should learn and provide them roadmap for the same The highest package this year is quite good and the average package is also decent last year average for mechanical was 8-9LPA which is expected to increase this year for cse and circuital branches the avg package is around 25 LPA or even more

After the second semester onwards you can apply for internship and in the final u are eligible for placements ans PPOs. A lot of well repuated tier1 companies visited here for placements including Google Microsoft Amazon Dell and many more. The avg package is around 17LPA and the highest pacakage is 51 LPA while the highest overseas is around 1cr or so. 90-95% students would place in the on campus placements. Many students go fo for further studies too.

Good Decent College

Placement Experience:

Placement of our college are more than sufficient even in the recession times our student 60-80% got placed. Our college is renowned for their placements from past 10 years the placement trend has increasedly the quality students are coming to our college hands they are placed in very good companies also in very big becoming startups. The average package is 6 lpa and the highest package is 17 lpa in the ion group goes to 30 around students.

Good College

Placement Experience:

For placement 6th semester is the same there most of the Student start sitting in the placement. Companies that visited our campus are TCS Infosys Capgemini cognizant. This year the placement percentage was nearly 70-75%. This data was much higher earlier as due to recession placement has reduced. Birthday college time I am trying to pursue and take after my b.tech degree for getting the best employment.

The admission process is entirely based on the NIMCET entrance exam. One should achieve a good rank in the NIMCET entrance exam in order to get admission to this college. The eligibility for getting admission in MCA is that you should have math's or computer science in your bachelors and have got at least 55% marks in your bachelors. If I talk about reservations, IPU reserves around 60% of the seats for Delhi students.
