College Events

Fees and Financial Aid

Scholarship is provided by the university and they offers a limited number of scholarships to students joining the Master's programs. To know of the eligibility criteria and the range of scholarships offered to the students.

Campus Life

The campus is aesthetically designed with several features of passive solar design, energy-efficiency and water and waste management systems. The planning and orientation of spaces and building blocks ensures glare-free daylight in all regularly occupied areas.

Hostel Facilities

Yes, hostel facility is given to both boys and girls with separate hostels. International female students are also provided with seats in the hostel. Male students are assisted in getting accommodation around the University by the administration.

Experience at dept of mathematics

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum is not that light, it requires to be taken seriously throughout. Had done BSc in mathematics so automatically reflex was to pursue a master's in the same subject, that's why opted for it in the first place. But later realized we can do a lot more things with the same course apart from carrying on a Ph.D.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible to set in the placements from the 3rd semester. A company that visited was Evalue serve and they talked about their company and there was an online test conducted those who passed the test and had good merit were called for the interview from the college. The package provided by them was 3-4 lacks per annum. 1-2 students get placement from the department every year. First, the company keeps the student for internship for 6 months during which they pay a certain stipend and after that, they decide whether to keep the student permanently or not. Most of the seniors also get placed in the field of regulatory toxicology from outside. My plan after getting the degree is to get a good job.

Remarks:

No one can get bored here. Academics are top class. Apart from studies, sports facilities are at their best as well. From indoor to outdoor activities, you are never going to have any complaints regarding these.

Overview of Jamia Milia Islamia (Central University)

Remarks:

Overall the university is good as it's central university and said so the fee is also bearable for financially deprived students. Faculty is good who teach you about subject with focus. The infrastructure is pretty good like ghalib park , tagore auditorium, art gallery etc. One of the biggest library is in jamia.

If you can get in this college it is one of the best colleges in India you will be given all the facilities you require I don't have any negative remarks about my college. There is a lot of greenery in the campus which is great as I like to go for small walks.

Wonderful yet disciplined.

Remarks:

Not everything on earth in Absolute or 100% there are always a dark side for everything. I have a count only one thing is that the road divides the campus into two half is now become as a commercial although it is a property of Jamia because residential/commercial properties in Okhla increasing drastically so people start taking the university road to commute which is making problem for the students as it causing sound as well as air pollution.

I only chose this because i always heard allot about IHM Pusa. After after getting in there i realized its all bullshit. Problem is college is good but the 90% of faculties are corrupt & mean they are only selling education system nothing else.

The Energy Research Institute School of Advanced Studies (TERI-SAS) is one of its kind colleges providing top-notch education to all of its students. The placement percentage is hundred percentage, which speaks for itself about the quality of education being provided here. It is deemed to be a University and is NAAC accredited A grade institution.
