Course Curriculum Overview

I wanted to go for this course because I'm interested in learning sustainable practices for conserving environment.TERI one of the best institute providing M.Sc Environmental science and other sustainable development courses. There are 61 students in our batch which is more than it should be.

Class Size: 61Course Fees: INR 208000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is quite high especially examination fee which is 10000 per semester. The fee is 104000 per semester.There is some scholarship provided . Details could be found in TERI website. There are few chances of getting the scholarship.

Campus Life

College have very small infrastructure in 2 acres of land. The college conducted 3day fest in the month of December named Aahwaan with various activities and competitions like dancing, singing, table tennis, chess ets . with some bands performing in it. Classrooms are fully AC have a little bit of ventilation problem during winters. There are 3 clubs to join like Eco club, Spic macay.

Admission

Students scoring 55% or more are eligible for this course. One can take Admission in two ways first through Teri conducting their entrance test and interview in 2 phases and second through CUET score. Application form can be found in TERI Website .

A Complete Learning Experience at Dept of Mathematics DU

Placement Experience:

Yes there is a placement cell here. 2nd year students eligible for campus placement company started visiting campus for placement after one month of 2nd year started . Here company came for mostly 3 roles Data analyst, Data scientist and Subject matter expert. Companies like United Airlines, United Healthcare Optum, Cognitio analytics, Courseleap, transOrg analytics etc visited campus and the package they offer depends on company standards it vary from 5 lpa to 20 lpa . Avg package is around 9 lpa and highest package is offered 20 lpa for Data science role. About 20 to 30 percent of students are getting placed mostly are chosen for higher studies like phd . My plan is definitely going to cooperate industry for data analyst role

Campus placements are offered but I am still in my first year so I have no idea. Students usually go for higher studies (PhD) after master's. Clearing entrances becomes a task. They d offer campus placements it's not that intense as it should be.

Excellent experience but can be better with efforts of students and faculty

Placement Experience:

Placements occur in two phases first in 3rd semester for Phase 1 and then Phase 2 in 4th semester. Percentage of people placed is low but the package and companies they got is excellent. The packages offered from 7.5 LPA to as high as 26 LPA. A lot of big companies visit the campus.

I have choosen this course because I have interest about this course , and this course has a great opportunity after complition This curriculum prepares me by giving me appropriate knowledge about the microbial field and there application in real world and give me an opportunity to learn about microbiology in labs It also covers approximately the whole syllabus needed for csir life science The teachers can improve their teaching method by giving them ppt seperate so that the students focuses more in the class and can use a simple language preferably mix language so that the student can understand easily The frequency and timings of exams along with your perspective on their difficultly level are good and don't contain any re newation

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I choose this course because I am interested to study on environment. Again now a days the field in related to environment like disaster management, climate change etc. Facalty is available for the student and they are ready to help students any time. Ratio is correctly not known but I can say that it's good. Facalty is highly educated with PhD holder and other high qualified. Teaching method is basically online distance mode. They provides notes in pdf formate and through video classes. Offline books are provided through postal address. Study materials are easily available on the official website and different application of the official. Exams are conducted as both semester and yearly method. In my course it's semester system and it held timely. Exams are not so tough not too easy.

The Energy Research Institute School of Advanced Studies (TERI-SAS) is one of its kind colleges providing top-notch education to all of its students.
