Entrance Preview

My undergraduate score was very good so i easily got the admission on the bases of my scores.

College Events

Throughout the year, the University familiarizes students to diverse environmental issues by organizing workshops, seminars and special guest lectures. Students also get an opportunity to participate in every events off campus including field visits.

Campus Life

The campus is aesthetically designed with several 'green' features of passive-saving design, energy-efficiency, and water and waste management systems. 31% of students are doctoral students Stress on theory-practice connect - more than 25% of credit requirements are devoted to projects and hands on learning Research Labs with world class infrastructure.

Hostel Facilities

The hostels on campus are good and you can expect great things here. Once you find your way around you will know what to do. It has energy-efficient features installed in the rooms as part of the 'Green campus like Round-the-clock security guards with electronic surveillance. Cafeteria Recreational room where students can watch television.

Annual Alumni Meet was held on a perfect Sunday morning of every month, marked by some drizzle and gentle little breeze. The event was a day-long extravaganza, attended with a lot of joy by the University’s alumni, current students, university staff and faculty members.

A Complete Learning Experience at Dept of Mathematics DU

Placement Experience:

Yes there is a placement cell here. 2nd year students eligible for campus placement company started visiting campus for placement after one month of 2nd year started . Here company came for mostly 3 roles Data analyst, Data scientist and Subject matter expert. Companies like United Airlines, United Healthcare Optum, Cognitio analytics, Courseleap, transOrg analytics etc visited campus and the package they offer depends on company standards it vary from 5 lpa to 20 lpa . Avg package is around 9 lpa and highest package is offered 20 lpa for Data science role. About 20 to 30 percent of students are getting placed mostly are chosen for higher studies like phd . My plan is definitely going to cooperate industry for data analyst role

Excellent experience but can be better with efforts of students and faculty

Placement Experience:

Placements occur in two phases first in 3rd semester for Phase 1 and then Phase 2 in 4th semester. Percentage of people placed is low but the package and companies they got is excellent. The packages offered from 7.5 LPA to as high as 26 LPA. A lot of big companies visit the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Basically I choose this course because I am interested to study on environment. Again now a days the field in related to environment like disaster management, climate change etc. Facalty is available for the student and they are ready to help students any time. Ratio is correctly not known but I can say that it's good. Facalty is highly educated with PhD holder and other high qualified. Teaching method is basically online distance mode. They provides notes in pdf formate and through video classes. Offline books are provided through postal address. Study materials are easily available on the official website and different application of the official. Exams are conducted as both semester and yearly method. In my course it's semester system and it held timely. Exams are not so tough not too easy.
