Remarks

Eligibility of B.com Hons course till now is on merit basis. But from this year entrance is going to happen. The application form will be released on the website of Delhi University. I did not avail of any reservation benefits and the whole process was very smooth.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose B.com hons because of my interest in the field of accounts and finance. B.com Hons covers all the subjects such as accounts, laws, economics, income tax, language, etc. All the faculty are very experienced and almost all of them are Ph.D. holders. Semester exams are held every 6 months and they are easy to pass.

Class Size: 55Course Fees: INR 6084 per year

Internships Opportunities

The average stipend offer in our college ranges from 2k per month to 5k per month. Many roles are offered such as Social Media Manager, Graphic Designer, Financial Analyst, Content Writer, etc. Companies visited are Byjus, Metvy, etc.

Placement Experience

Companies that visited our college are Byjus, Metvy, Finlatics, etc. Almost 50% of the students get placed in our college. The highest package offered is around 6 lakh per annum and the average package is 4 lakh per annum. I will pursue CA after graduation.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions

The fee structure for my course in my college is Rs 6084 per year. As I am in my first year, till now I have not got any placement opportunities but I will start getting them from the 3 years onwards. The scholarship is available for PWD students.

Campus Life

Life at any college at Delhi University is amazing and fun. Classrooms do not have top-level facilities. There are many societies in my college such as Commerce society, placement cell, enacts, NSS, NCC, career guidance cell, etc.

Placement Experience:

Placement cell works in a very well coordinated manner and provide good placements. From third semester student can apply for campus placement. Deloitte, Ey, KPMG, PWC, American express, Accenture etc I would like to do master first before getting any placement.

1.I was interested in commerce subjects, thus I opted for B.com. 2. The course curriculum in college are mostly practical which is used in real life for example, tally or excel. 3. every week a vestibule job class should be given. 4. My College Life Review

Placement Experience:

Yes, Campus Placement is there in the college but it's not more then 5-6 lakhs. For placement marks doesn't matters much but your skills matters. So, You have to study hard and definitely have some great skills to survive in this competitive world. As it's a girls college, Many of the girls settle in their lives as held in an Indian family, and most of the girls also go for higher studies after their graduation from the college. And the rest go for Jobs in the corporate sector as well as govt. sector. If talking about me I will go for job then do my MBA after that my own business. I am not going for the placement from college.

Remarks:

My main reason why I choose this college was that the campus and the crowd of this college is really good. Also the best part about cvs is that all the sports teams are excellent and they have a good number of societies to be a part of and be involved in extra activities as well, rather than only studies. The stuff and security system is great. CVS also have additional vocational courses and language courses which is a plus point because they provide us with the best studying material.

Sri Aurobindo College (Evening) overview

Firstly, college is properly made and its infrastructure is good. It is affordable for all kinds of students as the fees of college is not more than Rs. 10,000 per annum. Teachers teaching in this college ae re really knowledgable and cooperative with the students. When comes to the clubs and association, various societies are available for students to take part in and perform their skills as their wants. Such societies are NCC, NSS, Moksh, and many more. Exams conducted in college are twice a year on a semester basis. Students have access to libraries, playgrounds, canteens as per their needs. Also, functions and many exciting activities took place on each and every occasion to entertain students and enjoy themselves. Now comes the placement, and it all depends on the course in which the student has enrolled.
