Remarks

The admission process was smooth. If you're opting for BA Honours Hindi then you should have Hindi as your elective or core subject in your 12th. You will have to match the cutoff with your percentage for that you have to take your best four subjects and then make your mind up about them. If the percentages of your match the college cutoff then you can apply to that college. After that, you will have to wait for the verification. And then you will get admission to the college

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose this course because you will get a lot of carrier options. The faculty members are extremely sweet and extremely talented. They not only teach us the syllabus but we get to learn a lot from them. The exams are held timely and it's difficult but if you study decently then you won't find it that hard.

Class Size: 43Course Fees: INR 14000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

If you compare the fees of private colleges then the fees of this course are very low. It's 14000 per annum that's not a big amount for a college like Miranda house. In private colleges, you pay lakhs for the same course and they are not even good colleges.

Campus Life

College life at DU colleges is so much fun. Miranda House is located on the north campus so fest here is far better than any other college. You will find almost every book of your course in the college library.

Worst decision ever

Placement Experience:

Personally, i have good amount of experience in the industry so i might just not need vollege placements. But fir the senior batch i think only a fee got placed but rest of the students are doing things personally.

The ba programe here is little different from other colleges accross the country. The curriculum is quite diversified. If you are intrested in arts , there is lot to learn. If one want to become writter or any thing related to literature , or want to become historian , geo-politics expert,etc. The course is quite good. The exams held every four and a half or five months and the difficulty level is moderate.

Like this course is about rights and authorities which is very important for everyone nowadays and specially when you are a girl so that nobody couldn't dominate you. We read about what were the past sceniors towards the lower castes or women which is also happens in most of the states and cities but this curriculum taught us whats the reality of the world and how to be independent and how to protest for our rights . Even we can more learn about this if the faculity organises those things via presentation or streamings with some videos so it will be more helpful in our exams too!!

Maitreyi College is Underrated, A VERY NICE EXPERIENCE

Course Curriculum Overview:

Coming to english hons I had a little different expectations and this turned out to be a little different, This course is too much till where I have studied is inclined towards literature which sometimes students do not like. There are many subjects inside the core, but subjects like literary studies caught lot of attention due to it's attractiveness and different perspectives. Sometimes things go a lot off syllabus which disrupts mindful learning but thankgod it's just 30-40% of it.

Good and bad's of my college

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course is basically design to study economics in a depth so that the understanding of student related to world economic, how economics work , how it affect an individual etc increase and he can work more efficiently to give theories and work in the companies related to economics. The curriculum includes value added course and skill enhanced courses that help us to learn different types of skills that are required in the real world applications. Improvement in these can be done by asking the student to apply all these into real life and connect students with the real life approaches related to the course. For core subjects the timing of paper is 3 hours and for sec and vac courses the timing of paper is 1 hour.

I applied for other north campus colleges of delhi university . This college was my 3rd preferance college wise . For taking admission in colleges of central university a centralised exam takes place called CUET UG . I scored decent marks which landed me this college . if i could have scored more i might have gotten others but this college has the most multidisciplinary combinations for ba students as compared to others so i knew beforehand that i was going to get this one only . Miranda House has one the best campus in DU. It is the topmost college of Delhi University.The infrastructure according to me in the entire north campus Miranda House has best infrastructure. We have two buildings one is new and one is old, both the buildings are maintained in great manner. Hygiene is the main priority. The labs are maintained perfectly.
