Remarks

The admission process to the college is really simple. As always eligibility is 12th pass and kcet required rank if you're coming through the entrance. The fees for both management and kcet are close to the same range(Except sc/St students as they have even lesser fees as per government rules). Since the fees are comparatively less than other colleges students who couldn't crack the entrance exam also can choose this college. The admission process doesn't take too long if you present with all your documents like 11th & 12th passcards etc. As Per the present kcet fee general obc students have to pay Rs 90060( might vary in coming exams)as per government released fee.Rs 10000 extra will be collected from the college during admission for training and other facilities which is actually beneficial to the students so no complaints. kcet students might take a little time for admission but management admission is really fast and even the fee is somewhere close to the general kcet fees so doesn't make much difference.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

Term exams were perfectly held as per the schedule and will be easy enough if well prepared as portions are well covered by the faculty before the exams. Each department has enough students to handle all the students every semester. most of the main faculty have 15+ years experience and assistants also have really good experience many of the faculty and hods have completed their PhDs and achieved doctorate as well. teaching is good and students who pay attention to the classes can easily study understand and pass the exams and questions presented.

Internships Opportunities

3.5

Internships are available for eligible students who perform well. Different companies like the placement department are also available for internships. Like in the placements internship is also a little less percentage-wise compared to other colleges but good anyway.

Placement Experience

3.5

Students are eligible for placements by the end of the last year of college. Different companies visit the company like Infosys, Wipro, TCS, Accenture, Capgemini, dell And many more leading companies. the highest package offered this year was 12 lakhs average should be around 6 lakhs and About 30 percent of students get placed which is a minus point.

Fees and Financial Aid

There is no such fee hike recently and the cost to study also is really affordable for a normal student. Scholarships are available during every sem and are really helpful for students who just need to submit the required documents as per their guidelines. if you are eligible you will get the money.

Campus Life

4

Fests are conducted every sem some cases a year including arohana and sports day. Sports especially have a good place in this college as they encourage and avail all kinds of sports. competitions are arranged within and outside the college. The library is one of the main plus points of the college. All the books are available here for student reference if at all not available they will get them for you on request. even an online library is available on the college websites where u can refer to books papers and other references present in the college either refer it online or collect them from the library by checking the availability online. it's really spacious and well maintained. Classrooms are not that great but good. Students clubs present are IEEE , ADHAR , EXCELTRON , MECHTRIX , DELTRONE and so on.

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.

If talking about the placement placements are good companies like Wipro or Amazon and many other companies will visit the campus but the ratio of selection is less. So little bit hard work is required or else around 60 to 70%. Students are placed from my college in every year.
