My experience in KS School of Engineering and Management

As it is vtu affiliated college, they follow vtu rules and regulations. The question papers of the semester end examination also comes from the visveswaraya technological university. The difficulty level of examinations is easy to medium. Scoring good marks in internal assessments help to boost the cgpa.

Many companies attend ks school of engineering and management including Mphasis, Mathco, Infogain, 1lattice etc. The placement here is good. They also provide company specific training before the actual placement takes place. I recently got placed in Mphasis with an annual package of 4 lakh.

I got selected through kcet that is karnataka common entrance test and the fees i pay yearly is 100060. First year they took an extra fee of 10000 as lab fees. The college also provides scholarships under vtu for sc/st etc.

My overall campus experience is very good. The college has a cultural fest every even sem named AAROHANA. We also celebrate other events like kannada rajyotsava etc. There are different clubs including IEEE, Rotract, NSS etc which keeps students engaged along with education.

I got into this college though karnataka common entrance test which is kcet examination. Although i had some top colleges which did not match with my score this college alligned well with my cet score and met my expectations.

The faculty here especially in ai&ds branch are very student friendly. They always support us and guide us in every way possible. We have 3 internal assessments, lab examinations and semester end assessments in every semester.

The college hostel has in time which is 7:00pm for both girls and boys. Boys hostel is located inside the campus whereas girls hostel is located near KSIT. Hangout places include Trot, Gongura Palace, Hangout cafe etc.
