Likes
- Campus, Infrastructure is good, you have a large campus with Boys hostel attached
- Labs and Departments, every Department has a seperate floor with all the facility
- There is a basketball court and badminton court and a vast ground for playing sports
Dislikes
- Placements, even after having a good Infrastructure the college lacks proper placements
- Canteen, the previous management of canteen was good, but the new ones have ruined it completely, the food taste isn't good, hygiene is forgotten so pls don't think of goin to canteen, instead go to the food court at the entrance
- Fest aren't a regular thing, we have annual fest which comes in Even sem that's it
Course Curriculum Overview
Well the reason to choose this course is that Computer science and Business Systems is a new course introduced by TCS and it has both benefits of technology and finances. We learn both the Coding and Business management, through we can choose either a coding career or management career or both together, like Data analysis
Placement Experience
Placements are average as I said before, the college has a good Infrastructure but dips in Placement, though almost all the students get placed, the salary package ain't that great it's an average of 4LPA to 7LPA
Fees and Financial Aid
As I came through CET, my tution fee was 1,15,000 per year along with 10k Additional VTU fees, but for people who come through management it will cost 4 lakhs per year and for people who came through ComedK it was 2.06 lakhs per year, there are scholarships available like NSP, SSP and even For SC/ST people and you would have to pay an amount for Sem End exam which varies year wise
Campus Life
Aarohana is the name of the annual fest and it mainly happens in the month of April, It a huge, grand and vibrant where the college is all set for 1 week of celebration with the last days being the most important with stage performances and dj night. Apart from that the campus has more people whom u can mingle and be friends. Make sure to choose the right ones. You have different societies like IEEE, GRID, LEO, Rotract for extra curricular activities
Admission
Well the reason I chose this college was because it was value for money and the course that I chose is only in selected colleges and this is one of them, I had put up for Tier 1 colleges like Pes, Bms and Dayanand sagar but they were all quite expensive when it comes to tution fee and donation were a must, finally through CET I ended up here
Faculty
All the Departments have well qualified Faculty with 10+ years of experience and some tho have 20+ years of experience in the related courses, they are friendly and help the students if asked. If you go on exams we have VTU based Timetable, there will be 3 assignments and 3 Internal assessments and a Sem End exam
Night Life
There is mainly a food court right next to the college with vast food stalls ranging from pani puri to chicken biryani, from Masala Dosa to Pastries, Rolls, and a Supermarket is also present a few 100 meters from the college, you if you can make to main road, from there you greenline metro and nearest mall is Forum South Bengaluru
