The college infrastructure and the easiest way of traveling from my home to my college, the teaching staff and the interaction between them, the accessibility of all necessary resources around our College, the distance is comfortable from home to destiny

Course was very good that it enrich my knowledge content through various fields in mechanical engineering with practical as well as theory, academic wisely performed well, Faculties are very good that thier teaching was expertise in condition

Internships Opportunities

Yes I opted for internship, I did my internship in the manufacturing plant of karnataka state road transportation corporation ( KSRTC) at Kengeri, Bengaluru and I got stipend of rs 8k, overall process of an internship performs was good.

Placement Experience

There were more no of companies visited our college eg Infosys, Tata consultancy service, Larson and turbo etc. the process for recruiting student for the company was very easy and was not complicated, many of our friends had opened thier own companies with their ability

College Events

Campus was so good, where there is cultural fest every year based on the theme, and there was a chance for all to participate in any of the event of thier choice. Technical means there was project exhibition every year with patent rights

Fees and Financial Aid

Vidyasiri scheme, social welfare department-yes I availed it by submitting all the necessary documents required for approval of scholarship the person whose income is above 2.5 lakh will get a scholarship of amount less than 50k and above 45k and below 2.5lakh will get more than 50k, installment facility is also available

Campus Life

Campus infrastructure was so good that every required things was present and it was easily available to all the students with some terms and conditions, sports was also available with the student choice

Hostel Facilities

Hostel specifically I didn't joined for the hostel and if I opted means, well it is also good with all necessary accommodation and food, there is a good infrastructure where students can learn or stufy with peaceful mind without any interruption

Placement Experience:

Last year due to recession the placements were low comparatively. From semester 7 onwards we are eligible for campus placements. I do not exactly have the correct statistics, but all the students who tried outside got the jobs easily. Highest package 32 lacks and least goes upto 3 lacks per annum. Last yearpercentage of students placed is 66 and before that it was more than 90 My plan is to get a good job, after the degree and if I cannot get a good job then I will go for higher studies abroad.

NITK: The college for the best

Placement Experience:

Students become eligible for campus placements by the start of the 7th semester, and the internships by the 5th semester. Since Mangalore has many MNCs, most of the campus drives start with those companies. We have an average package of 18LPA and it varies according to each branch of engineering. Mostly all the computer science-related branches have 23LPA as their average and the core branches have 14LPA. Almost 95 per cent of the students get placed. The highest package has even crossed 50LPA.

From 4th sem the placements drive starts if students are having 7.5 and abive they are eligible for placements some of the companies visited are Microsoft tcs tech Mahendra capgemini and etc highest package was 20LPA and average is 6LPA 30% are getting good placements my plans after degree is masters

Things you should know about presidency University

Course Curriculum Overview:

As the computer science was booming and also beeing an aspiring student towards that field I had decided to do CSE. The curriculum is was less practical towards the real world applications. They should have include industry professionals to teach they would have better knowledge and experience. Every one we used to have exam like mid term , FA, and end terms. Difficulty depends upon prepration level done by student.

Placement Experience:

They are eligible for placements after 4th semester and the placements are average, a lot of companies have visited I can't say them all ex like Infosys, TCS , and a lot of American and Taiwanese companies, the highest place ment in this campus was around 28lpa and average is around 1L and the percentage of students getting placements are below average like every other college cause this mostly depends on you and not the college its all based on your skill set. My plans are to get a job with a good lpa and I'm confident about that because I have a good skillset which would benefit the companies.
