Remarks

The admission process for engineering takes place quite smoothly. Yes, I had given MHTCET entrance exam to get admission to this college As a computer engineering student, the cutoff for the computer engineering branch is quite high.

I had chosen the course Computer engineering. The student ratio is about 80:20 for boys and girls The qualification of faculty is good..and they have proper knowledge in their respective subjects There are 8 total semesters in engineering In each sem, two CAE is taken and at the end, end sem are taken

Class Size: 60Course Fees: INR 143000 per year

Internships Opportunities

The internships in college are quite well. It provides students good opportunity to gain technical knowledge because it's compulsory After the 7th sem internship is compulsory for every student. Although students are eligible for internship from 3rd-year second sem.

Placement Experience

From the start of 4 th year students become eligible for campus placement..many companies such as Wipro, Capgemini, Tata consultancy, by us, etc visit the college..the average package is 4.5-6 lakh. The off-campus highest placement is about 25 lakh and on campus about 13 lakh

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option.
