Remarks

The admission process was through MHTCET and JEE marks. It was done from Cap round registration and also through management. Many courses are available and have a set cut off. All the application and registration of the admission process are available online. The admission process is very convenient and simply to understand.

I choose Computer Engineering course on this college as I have always liked it, are faculty are well qualified and are very good at teaching and explaining the course. Everything is conducted on time and in a disciplined manner.

Many top companies like Camgemini, Accentutre, TCS come here for the placements. We have many projects and company trips in order for us to develop all our basic skills for the placement. Many various roles are also offered by the companies.

The placements facilities are very well maintained and also there are many companies which come for the on campus placement. They all have a good offer for the student and also the college trains us well before hand for the placement process.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option.
