Remarks

The admission process was good and hassle-free. Reservation benefits are good OBC/EBC has less fess as compared to general fees. And ST/ST has even fewer fees as compared to EBC/OBC was done through CET CAP rounds.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose computer engineering because I like the technology and the engineering part around it. Faculties are very supportive and good at teaching. 40% of the faculty have Ph.D. and are well qualified in terms of their respective subject.

Internships Opportunities

My internship experience has supported my long-term goals as I have been able to observe and learn valuable skills I can use as a future Physicians Assistant. I’ve learned a lot about how healthcare professionals work in teams and different diagnostic procedures in cardiology and surgery.

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placements in the 7th semester. Companies like Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Veritas, etc visited our campus. As I am in the first year can't comment more about placements. But placements are improving every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee is 1,43,000 which I think is quite a high side. But due to the EBC scholarship, my fees became 83,000. There is also learn and earn program which is run on the campus for students with low income in their families.

Campus Life

The annual fest in our college is called Antaragani. Currently, I am in my first year so don't have how it is held. But I have heard good things from seniors. Around 30% of the classes are smart. College also has clubs.

Hostel Facilities

The room has a table chair, a bed is provided in every room. 3 students live in one room. The mess is decent like every college mess. The hostel is comfortable and it's inside the campus. The registration process is easy to get into the hostel.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

SIT is best engineering college of Pune!!

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option.
