Remarks

I was eligible for information Technology as I secured 67% in the MHT-CET exam. I took reservations of VJNT caste as I could avail of those benefits. I got information from this website about the application forms, application fees, and application dates.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is easy. But faculty members are not that great. I choose this course because there is a future in this course. Here faculty: student ratio is 1:25. The faculty are qualified but teaching methods are very poor.

Class Size: 71Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like nebula technology, phoenix gen, etc. Comes to our college for an internship. There are many projects developed by students in the internship in Java application development, and web development.

Placement Experience

Campus placement starts in the 7th semester. Companies like Cognizant, Accenture, Veritas, etc. Comes from hiring in conpus. The highest package is 22 LPA and the average package is 4.5 LPA. 80% of students get hired.

Fees and Financial Aid

There are no fees hikes and the total cost to study is 50000. There are many scholarships provided by College. Many companies come to college for campus placement and internships. Just Management is not good.

Campus Life

They have never conducted any annual fest but conducted a tech-fest after collecting money from students. Everything is available in the library but no one can issue those books. Amenities are present in the classroom. There is not a single sports event that happened in college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. A few departments could integrate new technologies fatser into the syllabus. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option. The admission process is simple. You can aplly here if you have given the state exam i.e MHTCET or JEE. After giving these exams, apply to the cap rounds.
