Remarks

The college has an intake on CET and JEE marks. After our competitive examination, we fill out the options form according to the options form we get from the College. If you are in reservations then you will get the benefits of that too. And after that, you need to go thoroughly through the steps of documentation.

Course Curriculum Overview

As a boom in the scope of Information Technology, I choose the course. The curriculum of the Information Technology of our college(GHRCEM) is well structured and has all the subject/course/practicals which we required in the industry as an IT engineer. The faculty is cooperative and helpful and has deep knowledge about each specific course and the faculty has Ph.D. (Dr. ) with them and is experienced in the industry too.

Class Size: 70Course Fees: INR 118427 per year

Internships Opportunities

The college has mandatory 6 months internships in the final year. So College also provides internships and we also need to find them on our own. We need to give reviews and daily updates of our internships to the college and the final report.

Placement Experience

The college provides so many opportunities for the placements and gives the training for the particular company too. Eligibility criteria for the placements are like depend upon the company. Companies are like Cognizant, Veritas, Capgemini, TCS, DXT, Accenture, P&g, etc. IT Department has 81% of placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

a fee structure according to their scholarship benefits. Like I belong to OBS so I feel post matric scholarship for OBC students. And the amount paid per year is 70000.

Campus Life

Our colleges has facilities like Hostel Playground Hang out place Canteen Auditorium Swimming pool Gym Indoor games 3 Library Social life is well adaptive and advance in college Surrounding environment is perfect as an engineering student. College organized different different fest like code Vista 2.0, etc.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. Later semesters introduce specialisation, electives, research projectsand soft skill training. The curriculum also includes personality development, entrepreneurship and innovation modules. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option.
