Remarks

Admission is totally based on CET and JEE scores. The cut-off remains high for CS, IT, and AI branches. It is done during the CAP round process. For taking admission, the candidate needs to go through CAP Rounds as per merit.

Course Curriculum Overview

As my curriculum includes IT. So the IT industry is well and vast expanded so I decided to start my future career in the IT field itself. The faculties are so good and cooperative. They guide us in every possible way.

Internships Opportunities

Trying an internship before placement comes is difficult. So, the internship opportunities start with placements. Some of the companies give PPO at the time of placement. So internship with PPO is a great feature.

Placement Experience

Our college provides placement and internships. The internship is provided at PPO so students will be benefitted from this. We have to go through some rounds, and the candidate who cleared the rounds gets placed.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees are 1,18416 for the OPEN category. But the students whose annual income is less than 800000 get the EBC scholarship at which 50% of tuition fees are filled by the government. College provides other scholarships and a student loan facility is also there.

Campus Life

Life at Campus is too good. The environment is good and various fest are organized at college. There are many clubs in college. The library is a good area to study and be focused. Sports and academics are good at college.

Placement Experience:

From 7th Sem, students are eligible for placements and undergo placement training. Many companies has visited so far but the big ones are Godrej, BEL, Framatome, etc. The highest package for mechanical was 7.5 LPA and the avg package was around 5 LPA with a majority of job roles as GET. Almost 95% students are placed. I'm preparing for GATE ME for higher studies

Placement Experience:

If one wants direct placements in comapnies such as Wipro, Cognizant, Hexaware, TCS and many more, SIT is the place. Highest is still unbeatable as one student in 2023 got a paycheck of 50 lakhs per annum from SIT. Even the average is over 10 lakhs now as most students are placed through SIT placements cell.

Course curriculum is also good and it is explained in detail on the college's website and there are labs for the courses which made learning fast and easy. Relevance(industry alignment)->8/10 The curriculum is designed to keep up with the industry needs especially in fast growing fields like computer science, management, design and pharmacy. Updated course such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, data science and 3D printing are included for tech students. Industry exposure depends on the students initiative it's not equally strong in every department. Comprehensiveness-> 7.5/10 First year courses focus on building strong basics in science, mathematics and communication skills. I first thought to join lpu and wrote plunest exam but after getting the review i cancelled the admission even after paying 10000 rs seat reservation fee . but basically my jee got blanked. i wrote cuet and comedk and mhtcet through which i got admission in pune . i comedk and cuet my marks were low but in councelling also i got low colleges. in my current college you can take admission of gh raisoni engineering college wagholi pune through mht cet and jee. You can apply for mhtcet councelling even if you didnt applied for mhtcet exam but you have to pay 1000 fee. but the admission is very long and it takes till sept. for admission completion . cutoff for civil was 72% in mhtcet. experiance was very hactic of councelling you have to updated every date during councelling....Read More

Life at GHRCEM - Limited fun, Strong foundation

I applied to a few colleges through the CAP rounds, including MIT, VIIT,VIIIT So many, but GHRCEM was themost suitable based on my CET marks as a open category. I chose this college because of its placement rate and infrastructure also good . The admission process was smooth and fully online via DTE maharashtra centralized system. I was eligilbe through the women category. The cut-off vary every year. I didnt get rejected elsewhere, but some top colleges chad higher cutoff. raisoni was a safe and good option.
