If one wants to join BIT Mesra, he/she needs to give the JEE MAIN exam and score well in it. Followed by JEE Main he/she can opt for BIT MESRA in the JOSAA counselling. Course Curriculum Overview

I choose BTECH in EEE because since childhood I have had a greater interest in electrical circuits, chipsets etc. So to make this interest into my passion I choose this course. The faculty-to-student ratio here is around 1:70. The faculty is highly qualified PhD teachers with great contributions to research work in various fields. Exams here are held on time and are moderately difficult to pass.

Internships Opportunities

There are a number of companies offering internships here including tata steel, Paytm, Adobe etc with a good amount of stipend. You just need good coding skills or have some projects to add to your CV in order to get these internships

Placement Experience

Students become eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards. There are a number of big names visiting the campus Flipkart, Amazon, ZS associates, Paytm, IBM etc which gave more than 800+ offers. The highest package this year went around 53 Lpa with the average being around 9 lpa. More than 80 per cent of students got placed this year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is quite costly here and is continuously increasing year by year by around 10 per cent. But you can still get various scholarships including the GM BIRLA scholarship in which you can get even 100 per cent off on your tuition fees.

Campus Life

There are a number of cultural and technical clubs out there on the campus covering almost all the domains. For formula Bharat events we have Team Srijan and for the coding domain, we have IEEE, ACM etc which are very active and participate in various competitions. So an individual can greatly benefit from it.

Hostel Facilities

The locality around the campus is not very good. It is surrounded by various small villages from all sides which makes it a bit risky to travel to the campus at late night. But you can surely feel safe during the daytime and can enjoy the lush green environment around the campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum exam ready for students of mechanical engineering it focuses on industrial level exposure and for other competitive exams like gate and IES with good faculty who teaches almost all concepts. There are labs for each subject in which we get real world application knowledge. Also course is updated regularly as per the requirement of industry . The course can we improved by making course more practical rather than a writing all things on practical it should include project for students. Frequency of exam is that in every 15 days there is a exam with moderate to difficult level.

Placement Experience:

7th Semester students become eligible for placements. The highest package is offered by Rubrik in 2025 of 1.41 CR(domestic) High paying jobs are mostly for SWE/SDE roles. Percentage of students getting placed in CSE/AIML is 75, ECE 69, EEE 60, Mech 58. My plans after gettting degree is to get into job sector only for a while. No such higher education plans as such.

Placement Experience:

At BIT Mesra third is like full of practice for placements and final year more of placements activities than studies. So, when all these things are in order placements obviously will be more or less certain and here they are certain only with almost 90% students are places through campus with annual placements of 8-10 lakhs per annum.

A Genuine Review

Placement Experience:

From 5th Semester onwards student are eligible for internship but from 7th semester they are allowed to sit in campus. Various companies like PayPal, Wipro , cognizant ,TCS ,Genpact ,Amdocs etc. Highest Package this year is 35 lpa and Average Package is around 7.5 lpa. Around 90% of students from circuital branch and around 80% students from non-circuital branch has been placed so far this year. My plan is prepare very smartly for campus placements and bag a very good PPO from are tech based company.

I had NIT Raipur Chemical Engg, rejected it because I didn't like the campus amenities of the same, zero sports facilities, they play Football on a Red Soil literally. I got this in CSAB and hence it was a better ranked college than NITRR, i've heard of people opting a lower preferred branch in BITM over a branch in NITRR such the brand value of the college. I scored pretty avg in JEE 58k rank so wasn't eligible for all the clgs anyhow. Admission process is pretty simple JOSSA and CSAB. Actually This college was in my list but as a last option as i was getting RVCE and BMS few reputed colleges of bangalore but my parents insisted for this college as this college carries a good brand name of BIT,Mesra. Yes, Due to my not so good performance in JEE Mains I did not get the college i was hoping for. A student should first appear in JEE Mains and score a good percentile to get in to this college.
