DSCE-ISE

I have entered the institution through comedk.One can register for comedk exam on comedk.org.One can get all the details about comedk exam on going through the website.Depending on the rank one gets in that exam, we can choose the college.In 2020 my rank was 4500 .The counselling was online and I was alloted with this college course in the extended round.

Dsce is autonomous under VTU.The syllabus is similar to VTU syllabus with some topics excluded and few other topics included.However, the syllabus is less compared to VTU colleges.Class strength is hight (up to 70 per class).Classrooms are huge and ventilated.Here, various teaching modes are followed like flip learning , hands on learning etc.. Most of the teachers are Alumni of the same college ,so they are more like your super seniors with 15 to 20 yrs of experience.

Internship opportunities are above average.The college provide some internship opportunities tied up with some companies, however college can't provide internship opportunity for every student , so we have to keep looking for opportunities outside too.Virtusa is center of excellence in Ise and will be providing ISE students with good opportunities in frontend development and cutting edge technologies.

Placements are good. From 6th-semester placement activity begins. However, internship opportunities begin from the 3rd semester if you are lucky.JP Morgan will be the company to recruit students for internships in the 3rd semester. The highest package offered in ISE is 30lpa by Amazon, and the average package is around 5lpa.Perfois, Accenture, jobdost,Amadeus and hashedin are mass recruiters in ISE.90% of students get placed this year and placements are still in progress. Good opportunities for after studies.

It costs 236000/- per year for students through comedy.However, for people who get into the college through KCET pay less.Only Karnataka students can write KCET.For people who wants to get into college through management it's much high.Internships are provided with monthly stipend, if you get selected by the company.Placement opportunities are good.

Campus is good , but not that big.It has a football ground, and basketball field.Fests and ethnic day in even semester , vibrations and furore are the two big fest's in college.Apart from this we have department hackothons like hackman.The college life is more fun, if we take part in any one of the college club.Various clubs in college to cater talents of students.Every classroom equipped with projectors, but not properly maintained.library is huge with all kind of books written by local, national and foreign authors.
