I am a student Computer Science.Marks in Maths in 12th should not be below 60 to get admission in BSc. Computer Science. Admission is based on merit. One can find application form, application fees and application dates in the website itself. No improvement is needed in the admission process so far.
Course Curriculum Overview
I have chosen Computer Science because i have a keen interest in it and further i want to join IT sector. The faculty:student ratio is 1:5. The faculty is very good. The teachers are either MSc. Or Phd. The method of teaching is quite with understandable lectures. After every 6 months we have end sem exams.
Internships Opportunities
Internships are provided in companies like amazon. Internships are provided for software development. Coding and debugging are the tasks. Web development is also done. The stipend depends on the companies.
Placement Experience
The students of Semester 6 are eligible for campus placements. The highest package is 3 lac and average package is 2 lac. Companies like amazon, wipro, bajaj and infosys have visited. Around 30% of the students get placements. I too aspire for campus placements.
Fees and Financial Aid
The entire course fee for BSc. In Computer Science is 1.2lac. Scholarships are also provided like free studentship and internships are also provided in companies like amazon, wipro etc. The highest placement package is 3 lac.
Campus Life
Annual Fests like Calemun are held. Tech fests are held in the month of February or October. The library has approx. 1,00,000 books, it has current journals. The stock of books are updated every month. The classroom has AC and projecters. There is annual sports day and many extracurricular activites like drama, dance, quiz singing.
Hostel Facilities
Room has fans, lights, bed, desk, chair and shelves. Non- veg is given 5 times a week. The food quality is good. The hostel registration can be done through the college website itself. The hostel fee is 60,000 per year.
