Remarks

Admission was made through JEE MAINS. I got EEE in 1st round of counseling after getting a rank of 101000 in JEE Mains-2020. Cut off for EEE branch were till rank 250000-270000. There were 3 rounds of counseling before two spot rounds. One has to register themselves on the GGSIPU website to take part in the counseling process after giving JEE Mains.

Course Curriculum Overview

Intake of this college for each branch is 180 students. In EEE, students are divided into 3 groups of 60 students each. Faculty of this college is quite satisfactory. Few of the faculty members are really good. we have practical classes every week. right now due to this pandemic, our sessions are running late but college's academics department is trying to recover that loss at the end of 2nd year.

Placement Experience

The campus placement of MAIT is much better as compared to other private colleges of GGSIPU. The number of companies visiting for campus placements is appreciable. Still, many students opt for off-campus placements due to unsatisfactory offers. The average package for the CSE branch would be 4-5 LPA and almost 90% of them get an offer.

Fees and Financial Aid

1st-year fees (including Rs.40000 university fees) was Rs.142000 excluding hostel charges and library subscription. 2nd-year fees were a little less than before(Rs.133000). one can get a tuition fees waiver every year by applying for Merit-cum-Means Income Linked Financial Assistance Scheme of Delhi Higher Education Aid Trust if eligible.

Campus Life

The campus of this college is not very large but still, it has the 2nd largest area among other colleges of GGSIPU. Sports fest is conducted every year where every student can participate in any event and can also win prizes. Almost every coursebook is available in our library and one can issue up to 3 books at a time for free. Different technical and cultural societies are there for students to gain some experience in other co-curricular activities.

Placement Experience:

Students are available to get placed starting sem 7, the placements of my college are great, it's fairly easy to get placed, most students get placed by the end of sem 8, Companies like Adobe, Google, Microsoft, Amazon come to our college, the highest placed student this year was 80 lakhs, all the companies mentioned above took atleast 4-10, students. Around 80% students are placed for sure, My plans after getting the degree is to become a content creator whole doing my job, trying to balance everything, also i have plans to start my own business

Placement offers are not that good, like if you're pursuing other courses than btech so the placement is good but in btech, tech companies don't come that often, so you have to develop your skills during your academics and apply offline for job.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Currently what a job require and what we are being taught in the college, totally different. We have to study separately for preparing job because in our course curriculum, importance skills aren't taught and the frequency of exam throughout the year is too much. We don't get enough time for preparing jobs. We need less frequency of exams throughout the year so that we can prepare for a job.

Life and learning at ADGIPS

industry relevent topics like ai , python , oops, numpy ,pandas, sql , etc with balance with theory and also with maths good for job readliness in tech role because of sql , pandas and machine learnig like laguages in collage teachers are still using old studioes for programming they are not switching to vs studio and jupyter notebook like studios papers are moderate but they are too frequent like 2 mid tearm with externam practical and then end term and center of exams some time placed at very far place which is not good

DTU- a glimpse

Placement Experience:

The campus placements starts from the beginning of the 7th semester. The stats of the top-branches is quite good, more the 80 percent students who applied for the placements get offers. The major tech-companies like Google, Microsoft ,Amazon, Uber,SalesForces,Meesho etc visits for the campus placement. The highest package offered till now is 1.84CR by the amazon ireland, the avg package of the tech branches lies between 18-20lpa. overall 75-85 students get placed.

Reality of MAIT

I applied in Bennet University,JIIT, Amity University and GGSIPU. I got into all except jiit, i chose ggsipu as MAIT is the number 1 ranking college in ggsipu. I couldn't be shortlisted in Jaypee institute of information and technology as i wasn't able to pass their Jee criteria. why i choose this college - for my jee mains rank (air 67890) this was the best college that i was getting in delhi thats the main reason i chose this college.
