4 years in IIT ROPAR

Campus life is good . The infrastructure here is very good and faculties also is experienced and helpful. Department is well air conditioned. Sports complex , canteen are well maintained. Mess food is very good and currently pay and eat system is going on. Coding culture is very good in our college and time to time seniors interact with us.

The curriculum here is up to date. The courses taught here are what industries need today. The faculty here is good and educated and have done research also in their respective fields. Exams here are somewhat difficult to get the best out of you. Faculty: student ratio here is pretty decent.

If you work hard on your skills you will surely get internships in top companies. Many opportunities are here both in SD and Core side. Compamies like Microsoft, amazon hired interns in SD and I don't know much about core department. But there were my friends who got internship in core side also

Placements are very good in both SD and in the core. Top companies like amazon, Microsoft, CoinDcx, google etc came . In core also many companies came . Internship are also good. Average package around here is 18-20 lac

The fees hike here is 10% per semester. Cost to study here is same as in other IIT's or government colleges. Including all the charges it will be around 15-16 lac for whole degree including hostel mess etc . Financial assistance is needed to given . Just fill the form and attach the required forms

Ample opportunities for sports and other extracurricular activities. Clubs here are active and the participation of students is also good. Some of the clubs are vibgyor(for sketching), alankaar(for singing) , arturo (for photography, fincom (for finances, stocks etc.)

Hostel is inside the campus and just 500-600 meters from the mess. Mess food here is very good and hygienic. You have to pay for the meal and eat. No need to pay for the whole month. Menu is good and is very healthy. Everyday in dinner there is some sweet dish also. Prices are very genuine.
