Remarks

The admission process was based on the eligibility of the course. The eligibility criteria for pursuing M.C.A. through distance mode is graduation. But if you are from an IT background you get an added advantage of being directly admitted to the second year under the Lateral entry scheme.

Course Curriculum Overview

I choose this course to master by qualification in computers. The teacher-student ratio is also normal. The qualification of faculties is M.Sc./ M.C.A +NET/Gate Qualified along with either pursuing Ph.D. or already a Ph.D. holder. The subject-related books taught over standard books related to computer science such as Forouzen etc. for Computer Networks etc.

Class Size: 20Course Fees: INR 30000 per year

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure is a little bit high but ok. The fee structure at that time was 30000 per year.

Campus Life

The books are available in the university library & as well as in national & international journals. The basic amenities in the classroom are also ok. Every year college organizes a fest for students so as to provide recreation to the students.

Experience at IGU Rewari in MCA Course

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is designed to teach the basic and fundamental subjects of computer science to students. In each subject, the difficulty level is below moderate. There are some subjects which meet the industry standards and prepare students for jobs in market. But many subjects are out-dated and their syllabus is not upto standard mark of industry requirements. There is an urgent need to update the syllabus and make it more industry demands-oriented. The teaching methods used are good but some updates can make them more better. Less focus is given on practical knowledge and labs. In each semester, you will have sessional exams two times for all 5 subjects. In each year, there are two semesters and in each semester you will havee final exams in the month of December and May.

Mainly from 2nd semester , you are eligible for the campus placement . Many companies like paytm, vaco binary , hindustan wellness , axis bank visited and many good offers are made. Highest paclage i think 32 lpa and average package is 6lpa . 100 percent placement provided by wctm.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculum is very basic not very helpful in real world in my opinion i chose this college just because it was near my place not because of its curriculum its not that bad just as same as other tier 3 colleges. They do have extra value added courses each sem which are helpful which are mandatory to pass so everyone has to do it seriously the college is overall very strict so that does help for certain students to study as their is no as such criteria for admission here so the students here dont really care about studying but because of the strictness they do learn somewhat. Timing of exams and frequency is okayish as they keep us engaged with all the assignments and tests but yeah i do get time for self study so its balanced.
