Course Curriculum Overview

I have the interested to know about medicine and its right uses. The faculty in our department is very friendly, they always help us in our studies, they always make communication with students and guide them. They are very talented people. The student also has good relationships with the faculty. Our faculty members are qualified and knowledgeable they always provide the best things for us, and they didn't compromise our studies for anything. The method of teaching is very nice they always made classes interesting. The exams are held from time to time, if the study is going well then it is not so hard to pass.

Class Size: 567Course Fees: INR 641000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Industrial Training is mandatory for our course so there is no stipend but our university arrange best internship for us. Some of students go for internship in Sikkim and guwahati. Projects are also prepared by students.

Placement Experience

100% of students get placement some of them choose higher study as their career. Alembic, Wipro, Villa, Mankind, TCS, and many more. My plan after the degree join a pharma company in a production unit and then pursue higher studies.

Fees and Financial Aid

As we all know it is a private university so the cost is comparatively high than normal. Merit cum means scholarship, Chancellor's Scholarship, Dean's list. I am now pursuing a degree, but the job opportunity is also good.

Campus Life

Adinova Annual fest. Pharma Fest for pharmacy. Pharmacy books like Pharmacology, Pharmacognosy, Pharmaceutics, Organic Chemistry, Medicinal Chemistry, Remedial Biology , International journals. Annual sports day is celebrated in our university. There are 10 clubs. Health club, Robotics Club, Music Club, Dance Club, etc.

Hostel Facilities

First, fill out the hostel application form, Then Choose the room type, pay the hostel fees with registration fees, then it is done. Nona and ac-type rooms are available. Triple bed or double bed also available. PG or Mess is also available near the university in Barbaria,

Gitanjali college also gives adequate placements opportunities. Opportunities comes from many sectors. Appolo, Med plus etc. are common and easy opportunities. Beside them Mainly Production companies like Macloids, Sun Pharma etc also conducts interview for their production units every year. Interviews are arranged for 4th year students only. My plan is to continue my higher studies.

I had applied to IEM kolkata, The Neotia University and brainware university simultaneously. I chose this college due to the excellent placements. I didn't take admission to IEM kolkata as the fees were really high. Also, i didnt take admission in The Neotia University and brainware university due to their not-so-efficient placements.
