Remarks

The admission process was easy as I got complete information on the college wesite as well as on the Mumbai university's website. I could navigate through it properly and got the fee details and the entrance if required mentioned there itself. Enrolling myself I waited for the merit lists to be out.

Course Curriculum Overview

4.5

Ever since My childhood I was a Keen English learner and an avid reader. My interest in english made me choose this course. The faculty of KJ somaiya college of arts and commerce is very helpful and skilled in making you learn the various aspects of our course. They emphasise on speaking in english and have fluency in their speech as well. The term exams were scheduled in a structured pattern and the paper used to be of moderate level wherein, qualitative analysis used to be done.

Internships Opportunities

4.5

Deloite, jp morgan etc, companies also come for the placements. College also encourages collab with different other colleges on various projects so that the students get proper exposure of the things happening in the world.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure was nomimal and there were options of scholarships and financial assistance if needed so any student could know and avail the same. There were campur placements as well, but there should be a proper channel through which all the students know about the upcoming companies because very few knew about it and ended up not giving the interviews.

Campus Life

4.5

Annuat fests were super fun. There were engaging activities ,dance , music and competitions which fill the whole campur with new zeal and liveliness. The college encourages the students to participate in the sports and hence, conducts tournaments. There are many clubs and forums run by the students who take care of the events.

Hostel Facilities

4.5

The hostel at the college is beautifully equiped with all the things needed by any student. The warden take care of the needs of the students. The mess serves delicious food ensuring the hygiene and taste is up to the mark. There are feasts organised by the mess people on auspicious occasions. The admission process to the hostel is also easy, one needs to contact the concerned person and things are sorted

Course Curriculum Overview:

Quite substandard and below average. Prioritised rote learning over critical thinking. Just a rubber stamp for a degree. No actual education ever took place. Exams were anually or bi annually. Exams were difficult if you cannot write 30 pages in 3 hours.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The curriculam is designed for all round development of the student and to make that person an expert in that field, these aspects influeneced me to choose it. Very well, with extra paper of real world application on each subject it ensures that we take something from the course and become industry ready The teachings methods and cirriculam are excellent I don't think any changes are required Exams are all year round, every month and are extremly difficult to deal with, as Xavier's bar is very high.

Yes, there is no specific place where we get to know that whether the college is open or not on a specific day like the day which has been declared closed by the government. The college doesn’t provide this facility for us. We have to move all towards our home to the college to get this thing.
