Remarks

JEE main was the qualifying examination for the course. Application was done through state counselling, details of which can be found on the HSTES portal. The application fee is fixed pan-Haryana. There are generally 3 rounds of admission, with one spot round. I did not avail reservation benefits, but reservation benefits are present in the college.

Course Curriculum Overview

3.5

Computer Science is the need of the age, and the college would help you in finding time for self study, a lot. The faculty are mostly nice, and would help you if you reach out. All teachers have published international papers, and most are PhD holders. The term exams have been shifted ahead of schedule since the Covid pandemic.

Placement Experience

2.5

Campus placements take place from October till next year semester end. The placements are average, and you have to work extremely hard to get a good package (upwards of 10 lakhs). All students get placed, albeit not with stellar packages. The highest package this year has been 18LPA

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee is very nominal, and you would be paying the same fee from your first till last year. Fee hikes, if any, are for newly admitted students in that session, and they will continue paying the same fee throughout their course too. A scholarship is provided for reserved students, to aid them financially in completing their education. All CSE students have been placed on-campus.

Campus Life

4

Not much takes place here in social groups, apart from NSS. Many books are available in the library, it is humongous. Classrooms on the ground floors have air conditioning and Smart screens. A sports complex is present, where people can play and compete in various events. Apart from an E-cell, there's no groups as such. Campus is lush green, and very scenic and beautiful.

Hostel Facilities

3.5

The hostel rooms are basic, like any government hostel facility. You get shared rooms in first and second year, and individual rooms in 3rd and 4th year. The mess for 3rd and 4th year students is amazing, with delicious food served, and nominal fee. The contract for the 1st year mess changed recently, so can't comment on it. The registration is to be done with warden, after your college admission, and annual fee has to be paid upfront.

Campus placements are offered with many companies visiting (700-800+). Highest packages can go high (Rs 30-56 LPA), but averages and typical offers vary (~ Rs 6-7 LPA), and placements rates differ by batch. Some students also pursue internships or off-campus jobs if campus offers are limited.

Four campus placements student get eligible after the 6th semester and from 6th semester companies come and they search for their Perfect suit And they just simply Conduct their interviews in the College campus Various companies visited our college like HCL,TCS and many more Offering a basic scale payoff around 6,00,000 Per year. Average package for our college is around three to six lakhs and the highest package a student got is around 54 lakhs Per year. For sitting in placement at least 6 cgpa is required to Get eligible for Placements But most of the companies ask for 7CGPA and above and only few companies are there which demand 6 cgpa students. My planes after getting this degree is Doing a job and then Lumping amount So that I can open up my business in the form of cafe or something else. But somewhere I will like to become nlp engineer As I have interest in sound processing system and AI and being from IT background I have good coding skills and communication skills. At last but not least Our college has a good placement Drive system And a good academic system too and one can easily prepare for placements if he studies well.

Placement Experience:

From 2nd year onwards we can prepare for it as we are equipped with hands on experience on multiple projects and practical knowledge. Till now the highest package has reached 45 lakhs per annum. I don't think that percentage matters as practical knowledge is more superior that theory part. I am planning to go for MNCs.

Students become eligible for placements after 6th semester. Numerous reputed companies offer placements, to name a few, these are HCL, Tata Consultancy Services(TCS), Wipro, Infosys, L & T, JCB, airtel, JIO, etc. The highest package to date is 27 lakhs per annum and the average package is about 6 lakhs per annum. About more than 85% of students get placed in good companies with a satisfactory package, however, good skills are required for a much higher package. I'll work hard to get a good package at a reputed company.
