Remarks

The admission process is easy based on the JEE Rank. Yes, I give the JEE entrance exam If I talk about the application process you have to register in JAC Delhi counselling then they released their cut. There are 4 colleges under the JAC Delhi DTU, NSUT, IIIT, and DSEU. Yes, there is a reservation available first for Delhi students 85% and 15% seats for other states yes including all these reservation SC, OBC, ST defence reservation.

Course Curriculum Overview

The course curriculum is good & faculty members are also good. I didn't choose the ME course I got this course as per my JEE Rank and I'm simply pursuing this course now because doing the ME in DTU is better than some IITs Faculty members are good they care about you they give you attendance if you have a valid point student-faculty ratio is also good here. Qualification of the faculty members is PhD assistant PhD student m.tech students and teaching methods are good Examination in DTU u will score good marks if you follow the professor's notes and doing 10 years you will score 8.5-9 CGPA

My fee Structure is 1st year: 2lakh 6 thousand 2nd year: 2 lakh 12thousands 3rd year: 2lakh 19 thousand 4th year: 2lakh 36thousanda You can apply for the merit cum scholarship criteria for availing this is 60 per cent in your previous class in this scholarship you get your tuition fee refund The second one is DTU also provides financial assistance to the students anyone can apply for this after applying this they take your interview and some questions to your parents like how did they manage to arrange the fees on the basis of the interview the decide how much assistance you get. And campus placement is very good in core brach Ave is 7-10lakh and in tech is 15-19lakh

Campus Life

I wanna live a campus life come to DTU The annual fest is Engi fest one of the biggest fests in North India and every month you will find the 1fest. The availability book is good. All semester related books are available. Projectors, Nice sitting benches, and ac are available in the classroom. Sports are really good in this college except swimming all sports are there 2 badminton courts indoor and 2 indoor, billiards, table tennis, indoor gym, volleyball court etc. College also organises inter and intra sports tournament. In DTU you can join various societies related to your interest like coding, cars etc

Good college for leaning and enjoy campus life.

Likes

College has many club and societies where you can get chance to participate.
College has good amenities for BTech students.
Faculty and college managements are supportive and helpful.

Dislikes

Location is bit away from metro station.
College should provide more free shuttle bus service from metro station.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. I do not feel very pressure. The course curriculum is design by GGSIPU. There is not spefific reason to choose to this course. It was my childhood dream to become computer engineer. I cant say that the curriculum prepares for real world applications because I am just second year students. The exam conducted on semester basis and its not very difficult.

Here in Jamia the faculty is very experienced in their fields , they make you feel Engineering and not to just read books. there teaching methods are amog the top in the nation
the curriculum not just focus on your engineering but also focuses on your personality development.
the infrastructure itself gives you the feel of oldness and the reputation of the college.

Dislikes

one bad thing is its less availability of Hostel rooms .
there is a very strict rule of 75% attendance .

Placement Experience:

Placements at Jamia Millia Islamia are not too high or too low and depend on the branch. Students can apply for placements starting from their 7th semester. Big companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Accenture, and some startups come to recruit. The average salary offered is between 7 to 8 lakhs per year, but there are not many students who get higher packages. About 40 to 60 percent of students get placed. Many students also work on getting into higher studies or look for jobs outside the campus after they finish their degree.

Things I like is 1st the cafeteria food 😂🫶🏻 it is good.../tasty
and in classroom thier were 2 AC in a room and 5-8 fans..
they have sensors lights on building and lift.. well maintained library

Placement Experience:

I don't know about the placements.. because in this college it is 1st batch of b.tech they just started to offer b.tech.. my plans after getting degree to take a job then do that.. or before that if I get internship I will do that for experience

Likes

Supportive faculties in study wise and real growth support if you need it.
Labs and Syllabus are latest and up to date, so really not a problem on that. And if you do need components for yourself you can ask the college and get it easily

Dislikes

College on it's own doesn't do any Cultural events or Freshers, there's a lot of process and Headaches to get it.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Course Curriculum for ECE in my clg is quite up to date and comprehensive, covering both core subjects and emerging areas of technology, which was a major factor in my decision to choose this branch. Course has a balanced theory with practical exposure, supported by great faculties guidance and well-maintained lab conditions. Also you get to choose the type of minor or specilaization you want to pursue after 1st year. Exams are conducted regularly after each semester, and levels are same as any engineering college would have.

I like the infrastructure of my college. College have provided us AC rooms with clean washrooms. Qualified teachers. Maintained decorum. Most important it is a government college.
Smart classes are available in every room. Cantens are available.
There are many labs for every subject either it's of EE, ECE, CSE

Dislikes

New college so there are no societies or clubs.
Fees is too high for general category students.
No facilities of hostel available in our college

I am an Electrical Engineering student. I chose this course because the demand for skilled Electrical Engineers is high leads to job security and also we can keep our options open for other fields by choosing this branch.

Hostel management are very low lack of room for home state students

The Dream College Life

Likes

The campus is completely different from the whole city, it is more cleaner and is quiet peaceful with various different beautiful views at different points and is not too big so could easily walk through the campus.
Has really great architecture of the buildings and is surrounded by really intelligent people including some over the top profs and some really great minds from the country.
The night life is completely different and is one of the best part of staying in campus.

Dislikes

some of the hostels are quiet old and need renovation.

Placement Experience:

If you study passionately and have decent communication skills and some important competencies, I assure you that you will secure a position in a great company. Here at IIT Delhi, you earn what you work for; you can receive salary packages as high as 2 crores, but some offers start as low as 4 lakhs per annum.

Fully solar energy used for electricity in Hostel and campus
Wi-Fi is working properly and fast all over the area.
Hostel and hostel mess are neat, well managed and hygienic

Dislikes

Sports facilities are not too well in this campus
There is zero spot of E- vehicle charging.

This course is newly introduced by seeing the upgradation of the industry by involving AI & ML in that work, this campus and course doing great work. There should be improvement in lab classes only and Exam are done easy to moderate level.

Sub Campus area of dseu okhla 2 campus is very small .
Canteen and food is worst not good water fasciltiy
Management a little bit and registrar rude behaviour

A NICE LITTLE INFO ON MY FAV. DTU

I have applied to GGSIPU , AKTU and other state colleges , I got admission in all of them but DTU was better than them So i chose it I also managed to crack bits goa but the fees was legit too high for me to afford I get rejected from lower NITS because of my rank. Rank is the only deciding factor in getting into college, nothing else college admission was just like school admission. The only difference was the huge pile of documents. You have to submit so many papers, category documents, residence documents To be eligible, you need to score at least 60% in your Class 12th boards for all category students You also have to sit for the JEE exam, and your admission depends entirely on your JEE rank...Read More
