Remarks

I applied to five or six best institutions. I went to the IISC Hyderabad interview but could not get accepted. The GATE score is accepted by the majority of M.Tech institutes. In the broad category, the cut-off rank for IITG is below 500. IITG offers pre-admission counseling to help students have a better understanding of the program.

Course Curriculum Overview

I chose the course because I want to learn more about the area. IITG's faculties are among the best in their fields. There are various labs organized in order to provide a better hold on the course. Exams are given twice a term to assess a student's grasp of their information. I learned a lot from the course and developed new things.

Course Fees: INR 12000 per year

Placement Experience

IITG has some remarkable placing statistics. The Data Programming and Telecommunication branch has almost 90-100 percent placement, whereas other key branches have modest placement rates. A Computer Programmer may expect to earn approximately 20LPA on average. This package was very good.

Fee Structure And Facilities

Every semester, the tuition structure for the course is essentially identical, and it costs roughly 54000 dollars, counting hostel expenses. A teaching assistantship program is available in IITs under several faculties, with students receiving a stipend. Every quarter, the stipend is roughly 12,000.

Campus Life

Life at IITG is highly vibrant, and there are several groups on campus to join. Techniche and Alcheringa are annual technical and cultural festivals. One of the advantages is the IITG Library, which has a large collection of books and periodicals. The location of the University was also very good and the campus was full of greenery.

Placement Experience:

For Placement purpose you must get more than 7.5 CGPA to sit in the placement there are lot of companies which often offers jobs from TCS, Infosyss, etc but you may not get placement in your core subject Average package offered is around 4.5 LPA.

A beautiful college

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in my branch. But in recent times there is a dip in coming companies.Average package of my branch is 8 lpa and highest goes around 21 lpa. Almost 80 percent students get placed and others choose phd. My plan is to get a good package job.

Entrance Preview:

I had qualified GATE entrance in 2016 and score 398. Gauhati University is the oldest and best university in the entire north-east. Gauhati University has more than 30 departments and known for its quality education. It is located in the capital city of Assam and have a very beautiful campus. Railway Station and Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport is near by it. Its one of the best University of India i have visited in my life.

For admission in this course you have to clear IIT JAM exam and secure a good rank under 100 of you are a general candidate. You can easily find the application details on Google. A worth-reading review, for sure

The admission into all IITs will be through JEE ADVANCED exam. I was able to clear JEE MAIN exam with a good rank of AIR 1082 . Thus I got eligible to sit in JEE ADVANCED and cleared it with a decent rank of AIR 5152. The application process and alotment will be through JOSAA portal. I applied for all the top IITs (only for CSE & MNC as per my interest) and I'm a female OBC candidate(OBC RANK: 1002). So I got alotted MNC in IIT GUWAHATI . The cutoff in our year is around 1200 in OBC female category. JOSAA counselling portal takes fees of 3000 only and we give our order of preference in IITs , NITs and IIITs as per our interest and we will be alotted a seat as per our rank....Read More
