Subtle review of DCE

The admission process is pretty simple DTU takes students from jee mains so someone who is preparing for jee can take admission but the whole counselling process is different from JOSAA. The counselling authority for Delhi college like DTU,nsut,iiitd etc are done by JAC in which you have to apply separately and they charge a separate registration fee for that, also after getting a seat in JAC counselling candidate have to pay seat acceptation fee which around 1.25lakhs which will be managed later on in whole fees. One major point I would like to mention is that in each college of JAC there is a Delhi candidate quota which is around 85% so most of the students here are from Delhi itself. The overall whole admission process is pretty good and simple and easy but it takes too much time than JOSAA and there is also a lack of transparency in the last rounds which I have experienced this year. My seat got frozen in the 4th round after that I haven't seen any progress in my branch and there were 11 rounds which are amusing.

I haven't chosen the course but the college and its name fame whatever you can call it. DTU has its brand name and here you can get various opportunities. Professors are pretty good and the teacher-student ratio is also good. Here teachers are highly qualified and supportive in nature and some of the teachers are so helping nature that you will genuinely love to study under them. Exams in DTU are very easy and simple. It is very simple to get good grades and cgpa in DTU rather than in any other tier 1 college.

Talking about the internship here at DTU internship offers compared to placement offers are pretty less. Very less students get internship offers on campus. Various companies visit here to offer internships like sprinkler, Microsoft, Google, tower research, Goldman Sachs etc. And various PSUs also visit to give core internship offers to students who are interested in core jobs. Here students are very innovative and passionate when it comes to projects, students here have some pretty good projects related to their streams. Students from here also went to the various reputed colleges in US, Britain etc for higher studies and research on their projects.

Talking about fees Structure and all about dtu so it is pretty high compared to nits and here you have very less chance of getting fee concession. The whole process of fee concession is pretty complicated so people here opt for loans sometimes and college provides support to some students to some extent. Student here also applies for scholarships in the district portal for merit cum financial-based undergraduate scholarships in which there are three categories for which you can apply 100%,50%, and 25%. In DTU as there are no such shortages for placement offers everyone who sits in placement eventually gets offer whether they take it or not it's up to them.

College life at DTU is far better than other colleges like nits, nsut, iiitd etc. It's located in Delhi so it's a capital region so you have access to all the latest developments in the country. The annual fest is the best among colleges in Delhi including IITD, I m saying this because footfall in our annual fest is more than theirs. Here library is also very it has a pretty good book collection and classrooms are air-conditioned. Labs are pretty equipped with the latest technology. The sports complex is very good. But the last point I would like to mention is that according to college students size there is less equipment. Various societies are there which are very active and participate in various activities around the globe. We have NSS which is social services society etc.
