A good college for disciplined job seeker

I gave WBJEE exam to get entrance into this college. I have secured around 15000 ranks and by the counseling process of the WBJEE board, I got this college on 2nd August 2021. Fees are moderate compared to other colleges. I have to pay 380000 for this course.

The faculty-student ratio is near about 1:25. The college claims that 70% of the faculty members are having a Ph.D. degree while others have a post-graduate degree. Most the teacher teaches in a good and understandable way. The end sem exam is conducted by MAKAUT as this college is affiliated with MAKAUT. Normally there are two internal exams in a semester. If you start reading attentively just a week before the exam you can easily able to score a good CGPA.

The college doesn't offer any scholarship or financial assistance but if you're a previously a student of the West Bengal board then you get a 60000 rupees stipend in the 4 years of college life. Though you have to pay nearly about 47000 rupees every semester. So the stipend is not sufficient to pay the college fees. But the placement ratio of the college is very good. St Thomas places over 90% of eligible students over the years.

To be honest you can't get the ultimate taste of college life in this college. There is a proper dress code just like in schools. Even you wouldn't get a fresher's welcome party here! You can't wear anything else other than that uniform. Sometimes seminars and webinars are organized by the college. Most of the books which are related to academics are available there in the library itself. There is a sports team for every department. Normally cricket, badminton, table tennis tournament are taken place in this college. There are photography clubs, programming clubs, gaming clubs, dancing clubs, singing clubs, etc available in the college.
