You can find the application form on the college website, application fee was INR1000 (fee change with time) in 2014. If you will select college staff mail you regarding the same and brief you about the process or check the website too regularly for the updates.

Course Curriculum Overview

This course helps you to solve biological problems with the help of computers. Hands-on with both Biotechnology and Information Technology. Faculty members are good and highly qualified and supportive. The faculty-student ratio is 1:5. Three times an exam is there in a semester; T1, T2, T3 time and marks differ.

Placement Experience

From the 7th semester, the student is eligible for the campus placement. My plan is to pursue MTech after BTech. T&P cell put effort into the placement. The average package is around 4.5 LPA in the 2017-2018 batch. T&P cell sometimes allows students to sit for the placement after the course completion.

Fees and Financial Aid

Around 20% hike in the fees for new batches. Fee structure is high due to the high development fees. Hostel fee is according to the services provided. They allow to pay fees in installments if the parents salary is less.

Campus Life

JYC (JUIT Youth Club) organizing annual fest and other events and the branch wise clubs are different. Library is good and you can see the availaibity of books from the library site. Classrooms and labs are spacious.

Hostel Facilities

Registration process is easy for the hostel. Around 75k fees in our time. Mess and laundry also included in the hostel fees. Single Bed, Mattress, Curtains, Almirah, Table, Chair, and Shelf is provided in the room. Outside View is nice from the room window. Mess food is Ok (3 times meal per day).

Placement Experience:

Chandigarh-based companies or the startups, and training institutes come here. Companies like Meander Software, Bebo Technologies, Novem Control, BookingKoala - Sales Hungary, etc. companies come. Average package is 3.8 LPA, and 50% students are getting placed. My plans after getting the degree is working in an IT company.

yes they povide placements. After 6th sem, means in 7th sem you are eligible for placement and apply for companies based on their requirements. Google, Microsoft, Adobe, Amazon and many more visits every year. Highest is the PPO of 93 lakhs and placement of 60 lakhs. around 93% are placed who registers for placements Average CTC is around in between 18 to 22 lakhs

Placement Experience:

At NIT Hamirpur, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester onwards, and the placement scenario has been quite encouraging in recent years. A wide range of companies such as Infosys, Wipro, L\&T, Capgemini, Tata Projects, and several core as well as IT firms visit the campus every year. The highest placement touched an impressive 2.05 crore offered to a mechanical engineering student, while the overall average package stands at around 10.5 LPA, which is a strong figure compared to many other NITs. The placement percentage remains high, with a majority of students securing offers, especially in branches like CSE, IT, and ECE, though core branches like civil and mechanical also receive good opportunities. The profiles offered include roles in software development, consulting, design, project engineering, and research. After completing my degree, I plan to take advantage of these placement opportunities to gain solid industry experience and later decide whether to pursue higher studies or competitive exams for broader career growth.

Jaypee university of information technology solan

I applied for Chitkara, Cu, Du, HPU, SRM etc and the main reason I choose this college is because of the studies, placement and location. The study culuter in this unversity is very good as compared to other university . The student Teacher ratio not very large as compared to the other university which give every students a chance to stand out and get better results . I got acceptance from cu , du and 2 or 3 other colleges. Yes i also got rejections from colleges like SRM , VIT for not scoring a good percentile in jee and the fees and cost of living there i svery high as compare to JUIT . The admission process is very easy students can apply on the basis of their boards marks or on the basis of their JEE exams as well . After that students can attend the counselling sessions where they can vbisit the college get to know about the college . the admission staff is very helpful and they guide the students and family step by step throught out the whole process....Read More

JUIT- beautiful place

I applied in thapar, jiit, juit and Manipal. I got admission in all of them but I chose juit. I didn't go to jiit because my parents thought that environment of juit would be better. Also they were a bit hesitant to me living in Delhi for my graduation as people are very young during graduation. Didn't choose manipal as juit was better in every aspect other than placements. Juit is good

I had got admission in Jaypee noida but in 128 sector and also stream was IT which I didn't preferred so I left that.
