I scored well in the LSAT and I got 55% in my graduation where I did B.A Programme from Delhi University and hence got admission after appearing for an interview with the panel.
Course Curriculum Overview
Course involves variety of subjects where we study so many laws like family law, criminal law, property law, and apart from this we study various articles and we have to remember which act had been passed on what date.
Internships Opportunities
There are no internships in the law curriculum but we can practice under some lawyers or even sit with them to learn more but the course taught here is enough for us to become a qualified professional lawyer.
Placement Experience
No. There are no placements for the law students as it requires further practicing and we need to work under firms.
College Events
It has various cultural events and guest lectures for students. The college hosts an intra-college festival which is pretty fun. And the most fun is our college fest which hosts a brilliant no. of stalls by brands and restaurants like Biryani Blues, Dominos, Mad Over Donuts, ChokoLa, etc
Fee Structure And Facilities
Fees is approximately 5,00,000 for the whole course which is very less as compared to other law schools and there are other charges like hostel charges,library charges etc .
Fees and Financial Aid
College has good tie-up with banks for loan facility and education loan guidance. IDBI, state bank, Allahabad bank, BOI and Axis bank are some of the banks that are available. Plus it provides so many scholarships to students that those cannot be left behind who are financially not strong.
Campus Life
The infrastructure is amongst the best you will find in any LAw school. The classrooms are well-equipped. There are good facilities for sports and a great culture of sports too. The gym is disappointing. The food is also quite good and the mess is managed by students.
Hostel Facilities
The hostels have the capacity of 2200+ students. The food in the hostel is delicious. OP Jindal hostel is like a home away from home. Hostel rooms are nice, but your life in the hostel is going to be miserable with all the meaningless restrictions.
Alumni/Alumna
Seniors are awesome, eventhough the college does not organize freshers, but that fulfilled by the seniors as they welcome the juniors with such warmth.
Exam Structure
Exams are held every semester and there are other assignments,, projects, tasks, role plays given to students that they have to study almost every time, we do not get free from the college's work, even the internship started a day after the exams got over.
Faculty
Faculty members are qualified and well knowledgeable in their respective syllabus. Really helpful and cool faculty members. Methods of teaching are practical and theoretical, both. There are enough faculty members for each department. I didn't get any industry exposure. The faculty members are less in number but that is never a problem due to their helpful nature.
