Entrance Preview
Kerala medical entrance. I chose it mainly because I loved the profession and its status. I had to go through interview. My family also loved me to be a doctor than anything else. Admission was strictly based on entrance score and my previous academics.
Course Curriculum Overview
A total of 5.5 years course of which 1 full year for house surgency during which we practice medicine under recognized medical professionals. First 4.5 years is for theory during which we have all subjects of basic medicine.
Internships Opportunities
Ours is a medical college and we never use campus interviews beacause doctors never need jobs because emdicine is itself a profession. But for us rather than jobs higher education is more important. As per kuhs standards our college gives a stipend of rs 12500/month We have to do our 1 year internship at our own college.
Placement Experience
Our college has an average of 100?pass out rate and we all are employed. Most of us have won seats for MD / MS in aiims.
Fee Structure And Facilities
Here medicine is for rich From entrance training to pass out if u are in a self financing college it will cost around 30 lakhs. For me as I m from government entrance has to pay 3.75 per annum for 5 years and a mess feers of rs 2500 per month and 21 k for room rent.
Fees and Financial Aid
Distinction holders gets 5k cash award. Also low fee learng for scheduled cast University rank 1 holder will get a laptop.
Alumni/Alumna
We have AICAR our seniors alumini group.They assemble once every year. But as our college is new we don't have much alumini our alumini strength is less than700.
Faculty
Campus with best faculty although poor management. Our campus has both college as well as hospital In college we learn theory and in hospital we practice In college. We have audio visual enabled class room n well flourished labs.
