The institution was formally inaugurated on 25 April 1978 by the then President of India, Neelam Sanjiva Reddy. The hospital complex was situated on the slopes of the Vilangan Hills, spreading over a 40-acre (160,000 m2) campus.
I did't secure much marks in intermediate and JEE main, so I chose to get into this college in my city because I thought it would be a good option in terms of education and faculty. So I simply filled the form and got admission without any entrance exam of its own.
Kerala medical entrance. I chose it mainly because I loved the profession and its status. I had to go through interview. My family also loved me to be a doctor than anything else. Admission was strictly based on entrance score and my previous academics.
