Course Curriculum Overview

Curriculum is nice but it could be better if they would have introduced entrepreneur subjects as well and to focus more on personality development.

Internships Opportunities

In our college internship starts at the end of 2nd year which our compulsory but apart from that i got sample of time to do an graphic design internship for feed india.

This year placement were pathetic there was 50 percent decrease in placements till now as i was placement coordinator this time for TCS.

There are many College festivals and best part is each society has its seperate festival so 7 or 8 fests annually are there and this year alumini meet also took place. Debates. They are not any except on the eve of various cultural fest Apart from this infrastructure is real good.

Yes they are really helpful and genuinei have been part of NSS heads have been a great support throughout the year and helped me boost my confidence plus personality.

Faculty is really nice and supporting but there is an urgent need to change few teacher as well . Our communication skill teacher was pathetic in term of teaching and wasted hell lot of time.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I would say the course curriculum at DTU is quite relevant and comprehensive. The reason I chose this course was the mix of strong fundamentals in the first year—like Maths, Physics, Chemistry, and Programming—followed by department-specific core and elective courses that allow some flexibility and specialization. The curriculum gives a solid foundation for both real-world applications and further studies, especially through hands-on projects and lab work. That said, some areas could be improved, like including more industry exposure, internships, and practical case studies to bridge theory and real-world problems. Exams happen twice a semester (mid-terms and end-terms) and include assignments and projects as part of evaluation. While most exams are manageable if you keep up with the coursework, a few subjects can be challenging, and preparation is key to avoid surprises.

NIT Delhi: A Balanced Blend of Academics, Opportunities, and Campus Life

Placement Experience:

The annual placements at NIT Delhi are consistently getting better year by year where the top branches such as CSE, ECE, and IT are leading the way with their strong placement rates. Many students get hired at very attractive salaries by well-established companies like TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Microsoft, and Amazon. For example, the CTC of the best offers have reached as high as ?15–20 LPA in some instances. The Mechanical, Civil, and Electrical branches also contribute to the university’s overall placement record to some extent. Those students usually boost the available opportunities for themselves by taking up internships and off-campus offers. Moreover, the students who fail to get a job on the campus can still benefit out of the college atmosphere where the strong basics of coding, projects, and practical skills are taught which makes the students quite employable at startups, off-campus, or even when going for higher studies like M.Tech/GATE/abroad. To sum up, NIT Delhi is a very solid foundation for the students whether they want to have a career or continue with their education.

Great Placements but Campus needs improvements

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. Almost 90% students gets placed. The top companies are Amazon, Apple, Microsoft, Google and Adobe. The highest package is 53 lacks and the average package is 20 lacs. I plan to become a software engineer after i complete my course or study further.

BVCOE, Delhi : Is not still the top colleges of IP affiliated colleges

In the Year 2019, I gave the JEE MAIN [Joint Entrance Examination-Main] having the subjects of Physics, Chemistry and Maths and we were informed by the concerned authorites that the selection in a Indraprasth University College and affiliated colleges will also happen by the marks gained in JEE-Main. We applied in the admission procedure in IPU and provided a minimal fees for the process. After that, there were 3 rounds of selection in which we chose which college in IPU we need and which stream. Then the result of each round came and a student can choose whether to apply for next round or is satisfied with the seat gained in previous round.
