Remarks

For getting admission in this course I applied for Gate exams and after qualifying, I register for COAP counseling and I got into this college based on my marks. The application fee for applying to this college is around 150. I applied online through the official website and fill out the required details and upload the necessary documents.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college curriculum is of good quality and up to date according to industry requirements. The curriculum includes both academic and practical information. The professors are so dedicated to their profession that at any moment we can approach questions and they are all ready to solve all our queries. The professors to student ratio is 1:8.

Class Size: 80Course Fees: INR 60000 per year

Placement Experience

The college provides good placement offers and the college has a record of 100% placement. The college placement committee plays an important role during the placement process. As they are fully responsible for our performance in placement. The highest package for our batch is around 90LPA and the average salary package is around 50LPA. Microsoft, Google, Amazon, Goldman Sachs, RazorPay, Oracle, and Apple are the top recruiter of the college.

Fees and Financial Aid

The college provides scholarships on a merit basis. I paid around 1 lakhs as my first-year fee for the course. The college offers financial benefits to students through scholarships and other modes.

Campus Life

College life is very good. The infrastructure is also very good. The classrooms of the college are big and spacious. The library is full f books from international authors and international journals which is very helpful during our assignments. The college organizes fests like ALCHERINGA the cultural fest and 2nd largest fest in India, SPIRIT is the sports fest of the college.

A beautiful college

Placement Experience:

Placements are decent in my branch. But in recent times there is a dip in coming companies.Average package of my branch is 8 lpa and highest goes around 21 lpa. Almost 80 percent students get placed and others choose phd. My plan is to get a good package job.

I had qualified GATE entrance in 2016 and score 398. Gauhati University is the oldest and best university in the entire north-east. I have applied for DTU & IIITD where I got Software Engineering Branch through the JEE Mains Scores. But since I was sure to join old IIT. I was not sure much about branches so, I just filled all the core and circuital branches of all Old IITs. I wasn't able get other top IITs as my rank in JEE Advanced was not that level.
