Remarks

Students are eligible for the course only after completing (10+2). Admissions to the college are done through JEE Mains, CET. The application form can be found on the website. Circular regarding admission dates, application form, and fees is released on the official website of the college every year. Reservations for OBC, EWS, SEBC, ST, SC, etc are available.

Course Curriculum Overview

I was always passionate and fascinated by computer software and its working. So to explore more about it I chose this field. The faculty student ratio is quite a descent. The Professors are well qualified, some are Ph.D. Degree holders too. University exams are conducted every semester. Exams are divided into two parts In-sem and End-sem exams.

Internships Opportunities

Companies Such as Persistent, Raja Software Labs, Cognizant, TCS, etc provide Internship opportunities. Roles such as Systems Engineer, Data Scientist, Database-Engineer, Cyber Security expert, etc are offered.

Placement Experience

After the 6th sem students are eligible for campus placements. Many companies visit the college for hirings. The highest package to date is 22 LPA. The average package ranges between 4-and 4.5 LPA. The lowest package is about 3.6 LPA. Companies such as JIO, TCS, Infosys, Cognizant, Raja Software Labs, etc visit every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

Generally, the fees hike is not too much. It is almost the same for a batch throughout 4 years of their course. Many scholarships provided by the state government apply to students. Scholarships for hostel students are also provided.

Campus Life

Many fests and events are conducted every year. Both tech and non-tech events are conducted by clubs and committees. The library is quite big and contains many books. The college has a decent sports ground and Annual Sports Fest is held every year. Annual function and Festive Days are celebrated in the month of January-February. Every department has at least 1 Club that is managed by students.

Hostel Facilities

The hostel facility is ok but not too good. The food quality in the Hostel mess is too poor. The college has a canteen which provides good food. The hostel is available only for 1st-year students. There are many PGs and Hostel, Mess located around the college.

A Balanced Engineering Experience with Good Campus LIfe and Supportive Faculty at RIT

Placement Experience:

Placement in my college are decent, especially for computer related branches. Students usually become eliggible for campus placement from the 7th semester. The placement cell conducts taining programs from earlier semesters, including aptitude tests, technical sessions and mock interviews to prepare students. Many companies visit the campus every year, mainly from the IT and software sector. Some ofthe common recruiters include companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant and mid level companies. A few products based or higher paying companies also visit for specific branches. The average package is usually around 4-6 LPA while the highest package can go above 10-12 LPA in some years, especially for computer science and IT students. The placement percentage varies by branch, but overall, around 70-80 % of eligible students get placed with higher percentages in computer related branches. As for my personal plan, after completeing my degree, I aim to get a good campus placement in a reputed company and start my career in the engineering field. I also plan to keep improving my technical and communication skills during the course to increase my chances of getting a better package.

Campus Placements are available in my college and probably students get it in third year (i. e. 5th or 6th semester). Most of the students gets placed in the company where they worked as intern. So my first priority was artificial integellence and data science ..but I didn't get it..I also have an interest in electronics and I finally get it. their 1:60 ratio of faculty to student and qualification of faulty is mostly ME /MTech and some are PhD holders.

I chose this college because this college is very reputed in Pune for engineering specially electrical engineering. Admission process - You should apply through CAP process to get admission in this college. MHTCET + JEE, both scores can get you admitted in this college as there is also an all India quota. After the CAP processes are completed, you can also attend it's spot round as they are also conducted in a very systematic manner. Why this college over others? This is one of the top colleges In pune. This was the reason for me to choose this college. Comparing pvg with colleges like aissms, dy patil, modern, and many more pvg is far better in terms of placements. Didn't had the marks required to get to other colleges like vit viit pict coep pccoe etc so I choose pvg. I got a confirmed admission for keystone college but it is worse that pvg so I chose pvg. To get admission in pvg college you need to fill a form of cet. Mht cet is one of these examples. If you have passed 12th standard then apply for mht cet.
