Remarks

I applied through Apj Abdul kalam technical university in the year 2016. Offline exams were held at various centers. There were 100 objective questions which have to be completed in three hours. The Paper was medium level. There was no application fee for girls. Results were announced after a few weeks. Then there was the counselling process in which there were 5 rounds .verification of documents also took place in various colleges.

I always wanted to be an engineer and had an inclination for civil engineering as I found it to be quite interesting. There were 3 exams held each semester before the university exams. There were specialized teachers for each subject.

Placement of most students took place during campus only. Various classes were organized in advance to prepare students for campus placement. Companies visited were TCS, Amazon, Wipro, Accenture, and HCL.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fees weren't exorbitant. College fees was around 1 lakh. Hostel fees are almost 70000. The scholarship was given on basis of students' performance in the final exam. Various extra curriculum activities were also there.

Campus Life

The library was open fr all students from Monday to Saturday. Annual fests were held every year for almost three to four days. Sports events also took place. There were various groups like Krystal spark, unvaan.

Hostel Facilities

The rooms were quite spacious and tidy. Hostels were sanitized on regular basis. There were Warden and guard to look after the children. The mess was open throughout the year. Meals were also changed on regular basis. Hygiene and proper cleanliness were there.

Hostel Fee: INR 70000 per year

The placements of GCET are considered average to above average for a private college. The average usually looms around 5LPA. The highest CTC offered this year was 39 LPA by Autodesk. Around 70-80 percent students are placed every year.

Real Story of SCRIET

Placement Experience:

From the 8th semester onwards students became eligible for campus placements.They are only few companies come on our college and very few offers.The highesr paid package by an company to our college student is 40 lac per annum but the average package is 4.5 lac per annum.Only 10 percent of students get on campus placements.I will pursue M.Tech from any other university.

I have choosed this college due to its location its come in ncr region and hte fees of the college is also less as compared to the other colleges other college fees is about 1,75,000 and above and this college has 1,35,000 in first year . its hostel fees is also less as compared to other which take up to 1,25,000 rupees and in this college we have to pay about 84,000 rupees annualy. college take admission through counselling by aktu and direct admission is also there . i applied for kiet also but got confirmed admission in rkgit. admission is taken through jee exams in which you have to participate in aktu counselling the admission experience is normal. the most exams preffered by the students is jee....Read More
