Remarks
In order to be eligible for B.Tech the candidate should have passed 10+2 with an aggregate of 45% and qualify in Ts Eamcet entrance test.The entrance test is a MCQ based exam you need to score 40% to qualify.You can apply for Eamcet on the official website.After that there will be counselling in which you have to select colleges and seat will be alotted based on your Eamcet rank.The application fee is around Rs 250 and you can apply yourself.There is reservation for SC/ST students.
Course Curriculum Overview
The course curriculam is very good it helps understanding about the subject in a comprehensive way.B.Tech is a 4 year course and has 8 semesters.There will be Semester exam before every semester in which you shouls pass mimimum 3 subjects to get promoted into next year.B.Tech has credit based system so you have get minimum required credits to continue studying next year.The faculty student ratio ar holy mary is 1:45 which is think is enough.The faculty members are well qualified and have good teaching experience.Mid exams are held one month before every semester ending.
Fees and Financial Aid
The fees for B.Tech at Holy Mary Institute of Technology is Rs 66000 which includes other miscellaneous fees like Lab and library.The college does not hike fee regularly.In my opinon cost to study in Holy mary is fairly less than other colleges.You can also apply for State scholarship and get whole tution fee reimbursed but getting scholarship is subject to fulfillment of criteria.You can apply for scholarship on Ts Epass.There will be an application fee you need to pay which is not much.There are no jobs on the campus.
Campus Life
The Life of an Engineering at Holy Mary is very good.There are a lot of things to do along with studies.The annual fest which happens every year is amazing we enjoy so much.Sports and other extra curricular activities are part of routine in the college.There is also place to play indoor games.The library has all the books available whenever needed.The Infrastructure of the college is very good.The classrooms have good benches and everything.The labs are well equipped with new instruments.
