Remarks

Admission for uvce is done through k-cet ranking. In which GM students should get good cet ranking withing 4000 in order to secure a seat in CS, IS, EC branches and in order to get a seat in mech and civil one should secure ranking within 10000. Admission fees for GM :24000 Sc/St:700 OBC:7000.

Course Curriculum Overview

The college has a good faculty department with a lot of experience. The class will be conducted according to time table provided by the college. Every faculty have a Ph.D. qualification along with a lot of experience in uvce.

Class Size: 240Course Fees: INR 24740 per year

Placement Experience

Good placements with companies like Microsoft google royal Enfield total environment etc. These placements are limited to only css, is, ec, ee. But some will not happen with civil and mech due to poor placements.

Fees and Financial Aid

Fee structure GM students have to pay 24000. OBC students have to pay 24000 out of which 19000 will be covered by epass karnataka. The college will provide two scholarships like vision uvce and samvada uvce for students who are economically unstable.

Campus Life

Fests will be conducted periodically in which 4th-year students will conduct MILAGRO and 3rd-year students will conduct FIESTA. IEEE uvce used to host college fests like code fest, other fests on monthly basis.

Hostel Facilities

Hostel infrastructure is not good because hostel building was not good at all.However good food will be provided.college has two hostels one is for CS,IS,EC,MECH,EE and other hostel for civil.Girls hostel was not good.

Hostel Fee: INR 20000 per year

From 6th semester we will get the placement assist .almost all mnc and top companies in india visits the college , namely cognizant ,oracle, tcs , infosys , capgemini , accenture , mu sigma , and many others along with startups . few companies offers direct fte roles, whereas few take students as interns and provide fte(full time employment).package will be between 3 to 36 lpa. rules during college placement drive are there will be 3 buckets , less than 7 lpa bucket 1 , 7-15 lpa bucket-2, above 15lpa bucket -3 , if a student gets any offer in specified bucket then he/she wont be eligible to apply for companies withe the salary range of that bucket. They provide international placement opportunities also , specially the zenken company collaboration , helps to get japan companies placement assist.

Placement Experience:

Generally I pefferd this college because of the college's reputation in placments . Students generally get placed into company's in 7th sem . Generally companies like TATA, IBM, Infosys, Amazon , Wistron, Accenture, Xoriant, Hp etc . generally 800 + students gets offers . Highest package is around 30+ Lpa and avearge package is 7 Lpa .MY plan is to try for both placements and also Gate examination

I had applied to the UVCE for civil engineering branch first option and first round I got BIT college i don't have interest to go to that college because of high fees . So I waited for UVCE college because of its professors and it's name and famous earlier and it's a first engineering college in the Karnataka and it's 5th engineering college in the india because of its history i have choose this college . Students need to rank below 5000 in KCET exam to get ISE and CSE branch and 10000 for ECE and EEE branch and 20000 for Civil and Mech branch .
