BCET- an Institution for the learner

This course offers various knowledge about the machinery that uses electricity. You can find the application form online from our BCET college's official website or else get it from our campus in Durgapur. There are reservation benefits available. Also if you have a good academic record and belong to a poor family you can also get various scholarships. Right now the admission procedure is very nicely organized, with no need for any improvement.

This course is for the learner, who wants to improve his knowledge in Electrical and Electronics field. This course provides you with the opportunity to get a job in Electrical core companies as well. We have 10 faculties in our electrical department and have 60 students in each class(from 1st-4th year). All faculties are having at least an M.Tech degree while some of them are more qualified. They teach extremely well. The college exams are one time in a month and the board exams are 2 times in a year. To pass the exam is very easy for a good student.

Minsole limited CTC 2.5lakhs per annum basic pay at starting with 3months of training at a stipend of 12k per month. Valeo lighting gives CTC 3.5lakhs per year. While GE power, TATA power provides starting salary of 35K-40K per month. Most of the companies have the basic project is to develop the electrical growth in the country.

Students will get placements from their final year(i.e. from the 7th semester). Companies like Tata power, Microsoft, GE power etc. Visits here every year. The highest package here is given by Minsole Limited which is approx 9lakhs per annum. Generally, every willing student who has the good subject knowledge and learning ability will get placements from here. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job in a good electrical core company from college.

The fees are very good for a student who is for middle-class family or even a financially weak family. Generally, 2L-3L is the fee for every course. But if a student is eligible for a scholarship scheme then the fees will be very less. The various scholarship we provides are Vivakenanda Scholarship, Chatra Sikkha scholarship etc. The jod you will get is mostly the average CTC will be 2.5L-3L per annum depending on the various types of companies.

Annual Edufest is organized here, Student-Alumni meet is also done here. The libraries are well decorated and have various types of study materials. Classrooms are large, neat and cleaned regularly. The Annual Cricket and Football tournament is organized here. Also, there are some other sports like volleyball etc. We have a Bengal College Cultural club.
