Remarks

PICT College accept addmission through MHT-Cet and JEE mains exam. Applications are available on official websites of CET and Jee Mains. Reservation benefit which I got through is Tuition fees and Examination fees scholarship.

Course Curriculum Overview

I have interest in the field of engineering therefore I had applied for this course. I got lots of experienced faculty in PICT who guided me for my greater future opportunities. Students and Faculty ratio is 10:1.

Class Size: 65Course Fees: INR 103000 per year

Internships Opportunities

Companies like Nvidia and Adobe are visiting our college for Interships with 30k average stipend and also providing training + internship prgrams with 2-3k monthly stipend which is great opportunity for learning.

Placement Experience

Students are eligible from 6th and 7th semester for campus placement. Many product based and service based companies like deutsche bank, rakuten, TCS, Accenture, Cognizant, etc with package of 8LPA. Almost 90% of students get placed every year.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fees structure is around 1.1 lakhs per year and the scholarship for which I had applied on Maha DBT website named Tuition fees and Examination fees for OBC Students and I got 45% concession in the fees. I have received Internship from college and I have also received Internship from off campus.

Campus Life

PICT stands in the top 5 colleges in Pune, they conduct many technical and non-technical event. Technical event is carried out by clubs like Pict IEEE students branch and Pict ACM students branch and non-technical event like Addiction. Our college library is full of excitement and almost all kinds of books are available.

Number of companies visited to the college every year and hire many skillfull students with a good package . the number of placement is constantly increasing from year to year. there is also a good option for students to take the offcampus placement , beacuse the college is capable to develop a skillful and sound engineers from every branch which gets placement easily .

DY Patil college is best for placement and coding environment

Placement Experience:

The placement is good in Y Patil College. Many companies are come for hiring a student. Most of students are placed in fourth year from fourth year. The companies are started to come in campus and higher students. Also, in a third year, Student want to get internship in any companies from campus and from outside of the campus internship is compulsory in third year last semester The company are come in my college are Amazon Google infosys Microsoft WIpro and other companies hire students The highest package of last year of AI and DS department is a 42 lakh higher by Amazon is the highest package of the last year placement. Also, the average packages are six lakh. The percentage of getting Student place in companies are nearly 92%

Placement eligibility starts from the 7th semester. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, Jio, Winjit, Cognizant, Accenture, Central logic, etc offered hiring drives some are pool campus drive, some are national level drives. Placement Experience:

We have a great Training and placement cell , they first help for inturnship in 3rd and 4th year and also invites top componies for placements in our collage. 6th or 7th sem students are eligible for placements. 80% studnets among the eligible get placed. I will try to get a dencnt job too.

Placement Experience:

From the 7th semester onwards students are eligible for campus placement drive. Companies that often visit campus for placement include ONGC, GAIL, IGL, IOCL, NRL, SAIL, Hindalco, Carin oil and gas, Reliance, Vedanta, Tata Power, Nyara, Tata projects and many more oil and gas industries, metal industries. The highest package: is 24 lpa ( given by ONGC) and the average package: is 13 lpa for Fire and safety profiles. Usually, all students get placed in the placement drive. I will do the job in the company I got placed in.

An Honest review of PICT

I applied and got admitted into Vishwakarma Institute of Technology - B.Tech in Computer Science. I chose PICT over VIT because of many factors : placements and internship opportunities, coding culture, campus life and overall studies. PICT is better in almost every aspect than VIT except some college life and syllabus strictness. Yes, I applied to COEP and VJTI but didn't get expected branch due to less marks in my JEE Mains. I also got rejected by IIST, IITs, RGIPT, BITS because I got less than 75% in my boards which didn't satisfy the eligibility criteria. I got into PICT by JEE Mains. The last cutoff for JEE Mains is 97.5 %ile to get ENTC in PICT. You require 99%ile+ in MHT-CET to get into PICT....Read More
